Hollee Roller. Chewed it up and swallowed it. Two little chunks left. What do we think about this? E-Vet, wait and see? What? Any input? Thanks!

Apple I-Phone or Tmobile Sidekick 3?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I want a new phone. I have the Blackberry pearl and I'm really not a fan of it other than its small. I narrowed my choices down to these two. I had the Sidekick 3 for awhile and really liked it, but wanted something smaller. Now, go figure, I want something a bit bigger again. I never had the I-phone...

Suggstions for weight loss
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Baily went in for his annual check up yesterday. No vacc's, just a general exam. He weighed in at 68.3 lb and the vet would like to see him in the low 60's.....60 exactly would probably be perfect. Here's my confusion: basic formula for losing weight is less calories in and more calories...

I registered a while back but only started posting. My name is Agnes, and currently, the only dog we have is Gracie. Gracie is a ridgeless Rhodesian Ridgeback (mix?). My husband and I adopted her about 14 1/2 years ago and we estimate she is about 17 now. She and I have been through an incredible amount...

Can be found here. Nice to see examples of the positive, of a system that works for all involved. ETA: It is a bit long, but worth the read.

Utility signals
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
We've been doing signals for several months, yet it is the only exercise he's missed in the 4 trials we've entered. I've tried mixing it up and doing the signals in random order, but what else can I do to keep him thinking (and watching!) me?

I got this email today from their owner: I am so sorry for not getting to you. We got it but were late getting going so I dashed to the vet. Piper is 17lbs. 3 1/2 oz. and Ruby(that's what we're calling Coffe) is 13lbs 4 oz. They got their shots but we'll do the neutering in a couple months...

Food Suggestions - Need a low ash, magnesium, salt and phosphate diet

Nutrition & Exercise
This is NOT for Ari :) but rather for my Mom's dog who is a 13-year old Shih Tzu who the vet suspects has issues with stone or crystals (xray scheduled for August). Currently she's feeding canned Science Diet (vet prescribed) which my Mom HATES feeding (calls it canned sugar) but is stumped on...

just a question about something that is irritating

So the question is mainly about one dog, but he does this to both my dogs. Natas has this irritating, somewhat gross habit of... licking pee. not his pee but my dogs pee and not just after she or he pees but also during a the actual peeing . I have tried many things to stop him when he is at our...

Recipes ideas for Jack's birthday.....

Nutrition & Exercise
Jack will be 2 years old on the 22nd, and considering all he's been through in his young life, I'd like to celibrate his birthday a bit--nothing huge, just mainly buy him some toys and make him a special meal. Because of his arthritis, I try to avoid giving him stuff with white potatoes and...

Baby Food

Nutrition & Exercise
I think I know the answer to this already. I just want to double check. It's OK for them to eat baby food, right? She's got a lot of pills to take over the next couple of months and it would be good to hide them in and also she could use the extra protein now too. I got her Gerber 2nd stage...

Am I doing this right?

Training & Behavior
I have a rather young Alaskan Malamute puppy, only 7 weeks old (was already winged off her moms milk and on dry dog food when we got her). My first priority with her has been to try and house train our puppy Allie. We feed her once in the morning, once when I get home and a few hours later. I leave...
