So the question is mainly about one dog, but he does this to both my dogs.
Natas has this irritating, somewhat gross habit of... licking pee. not his pee but my dogs pee and not just after she or he pees but also during a the actual peeing
. I have tried many things to stop him when he is at our house. But when I recently introduced him to my new Pup Bosco:
He also started to like his pee while he was peeing
. A bad habit I don't want Bosco picking up!
I have tried: 1. holding Natas while the dogs pee, but he immediatly runs to the urine in the grass and starts licking it. 2. I tried to spray him with the hose as soon as he starts the behavior, but ends like up like #1. So now I pretty much don't let him out until the others pee then hose it down.
But is there a reason he is doing this? I also noticed that he licks Boscos genital areas a lot. I'm not sure if it's because he is a puppy or what but is that normal too?
