Hi Everyone, I wonder if you can help me. I have an adorable furry animal called Jip (sheepdog cross) who is really suffering with a cloudy eye. He is 2 years old & otherwise he is in very good health. He has a good diet, shiny coat, plenty of exercise, etc. However, since he was a puppy he has...

I decided to adopt a dog from my local animal control. I have always grown up with dogs and missed having one for so long because I was living in an apartment. I have been looking for last couple months for the 'perfect' dog. I finally found one yesterday and she will be home in less than a week...

Dog Meets Hermit Crab....

I can't remember if I posted this before, but I ran across this picture again and it made me laugh..... Ginny looks very nervous at the sight of Nelson, but he just pats her nose with his claws, even when she sniffs him pretty hard - he is a very outgoing little hermie, and doesn't pinch anyone...

4 month old German Shepherd vomiting and will not eat
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
Hi, I just joined this forum looking for help to treat my puppy. I have a 4 month old German Shepherd named man, who seems to have gotten sick, Friday. He was fine, and showed no signs of illness until friday at about noon. I keep him in the house, and while I was on the computer, he began vomiting....

I want to change foods, but to what??
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I am looking for a new food for my dog, Trinity. I have been feeding her Nutro large breed, but lately she has started pulling her hair out again. I know that corn is a trigger, so I would like to find something with as little as possible, or even better, none at all. I also feed her homecooked stews...

I finally got that roll of film developed that had photos of the stray dog I picked up off the highway. Some of you might remember the "Happy Mail Saves the Day" story I wrote about. Well anyway, here are a couple of photos I snapped of the poor girl...

It's a bit early but I changed it to the [link http://www.sekcszoo.com/]Cinco de Mayo[/link] theme. Make sure your speakers are on and tell me what you think. Should I add a livelier song on there?

Speak and No Speak

Okay, so I was able to teach Felony how to speak (bark) on command using a clicker and treats It was actually fairly easy since she's such a vocal dog anyway (she makes all kinds of grunts, growls, woo woo woos, etc. all the time). My question, (and this may be a silly question) is how do I now...

Asking to go out

Hi My puppy is 4 months old now, and is doing great as far as being housebroken. I have to watch her though and I can tell when she has to go out, by how long it's been, if you woke up, got a drink, ate, etc. And she will go over to the door if she wants to go out sometimes, but doesn't really...
