We only have Walmart and Petsmart to choose Tinks food from...shes been eating Purina Puppy Chow (thats the bag her old owner gave us when we got her a few days ago) but its just about empty and ive heard its really not that great for pups... Eating strings off the rope bone?

How dangerous is it for dogs to occasionally eat strings they tear off a rope bone? Scout loves her rope but when she sets her mind to it she is able to pull strings off it and a couple times I've caught her swallowing them.
