There's also [linkhttp://www.petfooddirect.com]www.petfooddirect.com[/link] .  They carry virtually everything but do charge you immediately and ship days later.  After your first order, if you opt to receive their e-mails, they send you discount codes that pretty much make up for the shipping cost.

You don't have to order from PFD to get the coupon codes, just go to the site and enter their free food for a year drawing - that will get you on their mailing list. Just be sure to use an e-mail that you don't mind getting spam on.

ORDSC1077 is a 20% off code good through Nov. 22.

Your Petsmart may have By Nature dog food. If so, the canned foods look excellent. The dry food is probably pretty good, but I didn't look, b/c mine don't do well with kibble.

Anyway looking for something low (or without) in animal by products (we are trying to eat less animal products ourselves) and high in what a puppy needs.....

Do you mean you're looking for foods with no/low byproducts,or no/low meat?

I dont feed foods that contain by-products,however i do feed foods with high meat content.

The dry food is great, especially the organic formulas, which are fairly inexpensive considering it's organic.  I have been feeding By Nature Organic cat food.  My cat's are crazy about it.  I mean crazy.  Smells really meaty.

You probably have a small little farm feed store around you that you never knew about that sells Eagle Pack or Exclusive or Breeders Choice.  You never know.
