beagle mix with GI problems
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
Our one year old beagle mix has had on-again, off-again diarrhea for almost two weeks now. We've been to the vet several times, the first resulting in expressing his anal glands. It's never bloody, and he's not throwing up. He does seem a little lethargic every now and then which is not like...

puppy poop
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
How many times should a puppy poop everyday? Bruiser goes 5+ a day, and it is really mushy. I already had him tested for worms (and had him dewormed), and it came out negative. I am switching him from Eagle Pack puppy to Innova puppy, but his BM was like this since I got him. Thanks!

Looking for a dog - need help choosing a breed.
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Well cutting right to the point - I've decided it's time to get a dog. I think i'd prefer to just head down to the local pound and adopt a mutt of some sort, but I still would like to have a couple of breeds in mind before I go. I know that I really want a dog like the one I grew up with...

So wishing I had my camera for this....

Yesterday afternoon I had to bug-bomb our house. I hate to do it, but once a year the spiders have gotta go! It's a huge project, because I have to crate up all 4 inside-only cats, and take them outside. Plus I have to pick a day when it's not-to-hot-not-to-cold, so myself, 2 dogs, 4 cats...

Mini Siberian Huskies???
Posted to:
Choosing A Dog
Okay, while surfing the net about siberian huskies ( we just got a husky/gsd mix) I found a breeder site that claimed to breed mini siberians. And how they breed smaller huskies with one another and keep going until they get the desired size. Which is about 10-15 inches tall and less then 25lbs! This...

Steal and Destroy missions!
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I got a "multi-issued" rescue dog when he was 6 months old. He's almost 2 and the only issue we have left is the one that's been impossible to break. He steals things and then destroys them, if we don't get it away from him fast enough (Should say that he's a lab mix.) I'm...

What breed should I get?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I just got home for the summer and I want to get a dog and train it for my mother while I'm home this summer. My father passed a couple years ago and our cat (her only year round inhabitant) is getting up there so I'd like to get her a dog (she loves them) that can keep her company when the inevitable...

How come dogs are left out of the fun?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Why do dogs have to be left out of the fun? So many people have a myspace, but dogs don't have anything. There are no sites dedicated to sharing your dog's stories, quirks, photos and tricks. I want to share my beloved little dog, but it seems there is no way to have a page dedicated to my dog...

Well, when we first got Boo, Mocha was all over him and at times we had to say be careful (becasue of the stiches and such) now the stitches are out and Mocha couldnt' care less. Her attitude has become, 'well it was nice that he visited but when's he going home?' And Boo is a pushy...

My male puppy PURPOSEFULLY pees on me!

We adopted a puppy approximately 1 month ago and have yet to get him even remotely close to understanding the concept of housebreaking. He is now crate trained but we can't seem to get him to use the yard as his bathroom. He goes outside for an hour with us and comes directly in and squats! The past...
