Aggression with other dogs
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I have two schnoodle dogs, one who is 18 mos and one who is 13 mos. They get along great, although they do play a lot... and during their play there is a lot of growling/curling of lips/mouthing but never any injuries or what appears to be fighting (i.e., it just looks bad). The problem is with my...

Right now all my girls are on Beneful (ducks and hides from the rocks being thrown). I thought it was a decent food, until I came on here and read some posts. So its not good, I know this now, and now I need to find something that is good (or atleast better). Right now I spend about 20-25 dollars...

Snownose is badgering Kim...I warned her in thread via reposting earlier requests to cease tit for tat discussions and to remain on topic. Admin please stop in and perhaps give snownose a PM if she cannot let go of her bone and follow a simple request. This is routine for her and should not be tolerated...

I found this on another forum and thought it was interesting. Discuss if you wish. FWIW, having dated in my 40's, I think the guy is pretty much right on. Hopefully, all the "questionable" words have been ***. *** Originally Posted by Craigslist I am a man in my 40s and dating. I...

He is weaving!!!!

Shailer is weaving the poles like a pro LOL. I am so happy. He has been doing it since last week. He now only skips poles when he gets distracted or wants to do something else. I made sure today that he was paying attention to the poles and not to me so I gave him a test. I decided to put the poles closer...

Why don't people listen to me!! (rant)

My Bf and I were at the park today with Maze and Cameo when a girl, I'd guess around 10-12 years old came walking up and pat Maze on the head without asking if it was safe. Now Maze doesn't do well with children and she started growling, I asked the girl not to touch the dog as she may bite....

Dogs making out?
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Do dogs kiss like people? Lately, Kenya and Coke will all the sudden start liking each other's faces or lick mouths at the same time. Is that a sign of affection to dogs? It's a little different than grooming b/c they are actually licking each other in the mouth at the same time. It's really...

Does anyone have any good resources to find a dog behaviourist. I need to find one, so I can work on Guss's recent agression issues. I need to get a hold of it before things get out of hand. Thanks!

Well, have found already, hopefully. I am meeting with a family on Sunday who have one other dog and three acres of land. I've checked them out pretty well, so it'll just depend on how the dogs get along. It was a very difficult decision...for those who don't know, I found her stray about...
