Pofi has a new sister!
We adopted a 6 month old dog from a local rescue today - we took them to dog park right after and met up with Carrie and the Boxer Boys. Things are starting off nicely..... Pictures on the Photos for Sharing thread: [link http://forum.dog.com/asp/tm.asp?m=1846&mpage=1&key=ܾ]http...

ARRRGH--who the heck do I go to?
Somebody help me. Please. I am trying to find a trainer or behaviorist to help us with Sally's issues. Her biggest issue is that she is timid with strangers, especially men. We have been working on this for a year. We have been socializing her, having strangers give her treats, praising her for social...

Dogs on TV
I was thinking of getting a few channels of digital TV and I can choose two or five, or whatever, and I wanted to get a show where I can see lots of shows about dogs and other animals, so I'm wondering which network any of you watch? So far I'm thinking Animal Planet and National Geographic....

What are your favorite re-runs on TV?
I need ideas for good re-runs to record, and watch later on TiVo. I have been recording Friends, and DH records That 70's Show, but I am getting tired of them. I already own complete DVD sets of Sex and the City, and most of the Seinfield DVDs. What are your favorite re-runs to watch?

E-collar for Fearful Dogs?????
For the last year my husband and I have been trying to help Sally through her fear issues. She is NOT fear aggressive, but is timid around strangers, especially men. We have been dealing with this by getting her out as much as possible, having strangers give her treats (she is very food motivated), going...

Neighbor/Fence Vent
Last fall we replaced our picket fence with a 6' vinyl privacy fence. The main reason that put up a new fence was because we had some new neighbors move in with several little kids and my dogs were going crazy barking at them. So we spent a huge amount of money (8K) on a privacy fence and it solved...

I Am Your Dog
I Am Your Dog (author unknown to me) I am your dog, and I have a little something I'd like to whisper in your ear. I know that you humans lead busy lives. Some have to work, some have children to raise. It always seems like you are running here and there, often much too fast, often never noticing...

It's Just a Dog

Something to think about...
I just read the post by Brenda and I am saddened by it. It seems quite a few good folks who were a positive contribution to the board have left. I think I-Dog should take into consideration as to why people, some of which who have been a part of I-Dog for many years, are now leaving in droves. I-Dog...

Puppy at night question
We've had the puppy home for almost three days now but the nights are a small challenge. Roxy (her new name) will sleep for about 4 hours at a time, so I put her to bed around 11 and she's up around 3:30 am. She sleeps in "her area" which is in the kitchen and includes a crate, two...
