After Riley eats the raw meat off the bone should we be concerned about him spreading germs to his other toys and anything else in the house? Just want to be sure us or the cats wont get sick.

No worries!  I think of it like this - after you've eaten sushi, are you dangerous?  nope.

ninjarileysam: What a cute puppy![:)] I don't know about germs from his mouth, but about 80% of dogs that are fed raw meat shed salmonella bacteria in their feces, so you may want to take precautions about those; i.e., clean them up if you walk him in a park, ect.

Kibble fed dogs also shed salmonella in their feces. As long as you don't eat it, you'll be fine:)

You should clean up after your dog in a park whether they're fed raw meat or not, anyway.  [:D]

I think the average healthy person worries way too much about germs.  I never use anti-bacterial on anything, just plain ol' soap/water or vinegar/baking soda. I hardly ever clean Roscoe's toys. I use a raw meat filled Kong 2,3, even 4 times in a row before I'll put it in the dishwasher (I do rinse it out if he hasn't gotten everything, which is rare).  His food dish gets washed once a week. His water bowl only once or twice every couple months, etc.  No one's ever been sick here. [:)]
