Aquariums, Anyone?

Does anyone else here also keep fish?
If so, what kind?

I have 5 tanks currently
two 10 gallon tanks, one with tetras, and one with 18 baby guppies
one 25 gallon tank, full of guppies and snails
one 2 gallon tank, currently conatining one lonely female betta
and one 1 gallon tank, for my pretty male betta.

All the tanks also have live plants - I just can't wait until they grow bigger. The 25 gallon aquarium has about 20 species of plants, but they're all small right now. It'll look awesome once they're a bit bigger and we can do some "aquascaping" with them.

Anyone else?

I had a 30 gal. tank for a long time, but once we moved here, the tank didn't "recover." So after having like two fish left, they went to live with my neighbor who has two large aquariums. I'm putting up the tank again once we move back home and get settled in. I miss my fish.

I used to keep fish, until I got DH hooked. Then he hijacked our two 29 gallon tanks, and took them to work! I think that both tanks have convicts in them right now. We tried a ton of different kinds, but found that convicts are the easiest to keep.

I had a Red Terror named Petra for almost five years. After she died I pretty much lost interest in the fish, and I let DH take care of them now. I have to confess, I like watching them, but I was so happy that DH got hooked, because that meant he had to start cleaning the tanks instead of me!

I have a 55 gallon with a Blood Parrot Cichlid, 2 Kissing Gourami's, 2 Blue Gourami's, 3 Corydora Catfish, 2 apple snails and a Dwarf African Clawed frog. I also have a 20 gallon terrarium with 2 hermit crabs, 3 fiddler crabs, Bahama anole, green tree frog and a firebelly toad.

Gotta love my fishies!

I have too many tanks, and I need more.

Currently sitting at...

55 gallon, freshwater - 4 keyhole cichlids, 2 gouramis, south american gar, 1 inbred swordtail, an african dwarf frog,
30 gallon, freshwater - 3 pakastani loaches, 4 tiger barbs, 2 (breeding pair) keyholes
30 gallon show, freshwater - Mr. Knife (Clown knife), 1 Oscar, 1 female gold gourami, 1 redtail black shark
45 gallon, marine (fish only) - Picasso Trigger, 4 striped damsel. Going to be stocking with a dwarf lionfish, and a dogfaced puffer, can't wait. ($$$$$)

A digital camera and too many fish tanks don't mix.... I have about 2 gigs of pictures of FISH, yes fish.

I started out with a one gallon tank and a betta, something I read on Idog made me get it[

]. Now I have a 12 gallon with tiger barbs and a 5 gallon with a molly and something else, just started the little tank again, betta moved back in there.
If only my plants would grow. I suspect the light is not sufficient. Everything seems to slowly die off in there.

Here's ours. It's a 20 gallon that my vet gave me when I was working for him. The day after I took this, It looks much better with the light blue poster board that I put behind it the day after I took this. Since the fish have NASCAR names, I decorated the tank for the Daytona 500. I think I'll leave it like that for the season.

I have a 55 gallon tank with goldfish. We bought the goldfish for a 10 gallon tank 3 years ago. They were feeder fish. They got so BIG that we had to get a bigger tank. They're really beautiful.

We're moving in July, so the other tank remains empty for now. After we move, I want to get some tropical fish. Any suggestions for stunning fish that are easy to take care of?

I've got a 55 gallon set up with mostly gold fish too, but a couple guaramis and tetras and platies are hanging out in there. The goldfish started out from the feeder fish tank, they are now over 7 inches long. I call them the dogs.
