Echo had her first RMB
First she took it from me.. "whaddya want me to do with this?" then she dropped it. Then nosed it. Then... crunch crunch crunch! :) I am still weaning her off of pinnacle yet. Was thinking of using Honest Kitchen one meal and rmb the other. So far adding HK has made her poos enormous...

New Grain Free California Natural
Too bad this comes at a bad time...what with Natura selling to P&G and all. But I've been waiting for natura to make a simple food that was higher in protein, with no flax. I don't know if I should give it a try or not. I wonder if P&G will change the ingredients or not, since this grain...

Acana?
As I stated in my last post, I'm currently searching for a new dog food for Mr. picky (1 y/o ACD/BC x with grain allergies and a sensitive tummy). I came across Acana online, and provided that someone around here sells it, I am considering trying it for the pup. Does it have a good reputation? The...

Travelling with RAW?
My friend is taking her dog (standard poodle) on their boat for for 6 weeks. She feeds Raw and is looking to source freeze dried (?) raw food. I know the raw feeders here have been there, done that. What products do you recommend? Her dog does not tolerate beef. She is also wondering about bones. Thanks

"Before Grain" experiences?
Hi all. I just purchased Before Grain "buffalo" (a small dry bag to see how my pup reacts to it). I know it's a Merrick brand which will usually make some people wonder about the quality controls, however I'm wondering if people could please tell me how their dogs reacted to it? I was...

Shrimp
Last night I was taking out some frozen shrimp to thaw for dinner, Bugsy was super interested and recently someone had told me they gave their dog frozen shrimp as a treat so I gave him one. WOW did he like it! So any reason not to? BTW these were frozen raw in shell. I would never give him a bunch of...

Ear infections and diet
Maze has her first ear infection for the first time in 2 years. Now! I'm wondering if her diet is causing the infection. I ran out of her usual food last week, and at the same time her ear flared. I've got a bag of Iams healthy something or other... Can't remember the name right now. I put...

The Honest Kitchen, again
I put the girls on THK since we have a teeny tiny frige and not much space for our food, much less their rmbs and such. I am still going to use raw toppers though. Anyway, I figured out that once you add water, the cost of even the most expensive food, Embark, is 1.91 a pound. Down to their most economical...

WIP: Weaves in Progress!!
We're working on the 2x2 method of teaching weave poles, for those who are not used to it. We almost have the four poles down pat, we are just working on doing it from both sides, increasing reliability, and doing it from different angles from the first pole. But pretty soon we'll be adding in...
