Travelling with RAW?

    Travelling with RAW?

My friend is taking her dog (standard poodle) on their boat for for 6 weeks. She feeds Raw and is looking to source freeze dried (?) raw food. I know the raw feeders here have been there, done that. What products do you recommend? Her dog does not tolerate beef. She is also wondering about bones.

    Thanks

Nature's Variety has freeze dried raw, as does Stella & Chewy's, & Ziwipeak.  Honestly, I can't imagine feeding any of those diets for 6 weeks because they are going to be really expensive.

For us, if it isn't possible to take raw along on a trip, we feed The Honest Kitchen products.  It's dehydrated raw, so you just add water & let it rehydrate before serving.  Our guys love it, & do very well on it.

Another good one is Sojos. The complete formula has meat etc. Eight pounds makes the same as 54 pounds of food. http://www.sojos.com/complete.html
