Acana?

As I stated in my last post, I'm currently searching for a new dog food for Mr. picky (1 y/o ACD/BC x with grain allergies and a sensitive tummy). I came across Acana online, and provided that someone around here sells it, I am considering trying it for the pup. Does it have a good reputation? The price certainly seems decent compared to other comparable brands...

I fed Acana prairie for quite a while, and really liked it! It's the same company that makes orijen, but quite a bit cheaper. My dogs did really well on it.

When I couldn't get Orijen, I used Acana and was very pleased.

My dog didnt do well on very high protein (orijen/evo), but acana worked wonderfully for us, I rotate between all 3 varieties.

My dogs do a tad better on Acana than Orijen for some reason, though they seem to prefer Orijen if they have the choice. I just had to be really careful with Orijen about portions or they packed on pounds or got too skinny really quickly, even for my dogs. We really like Acana. Wish we could get it in town, but sadly we have to travel to get it so we don't have it much.
