Hi, I took my dog to the vet a couple of weeks ago because she was squinting and her eye was tearing. She was diagnosed w/a corneal ulcer. Herding the screen door?

Is this Another herding behavior? Whenever we are visiting at my moms house and anyone opens the screen door, Lizzie will bark like a maniac and try to close the screen door with her paws (kind of like a digging motion) It doesnt bother us but why the heck does she do this?
