Concerned about hip dysplasia
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
Hi all. I was at the dog park with Rita, my four month old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (a breed prone to hip dysplasia) and one of the other dog owners there said he thought that one of her back legs might have hip dysplasia; his dog had it in the past so he felt he knew what to look for. She does look...

Iams--ingredients
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I know most people here don't use Iams foods but I just had to post this. Tonight I went to Petco and the new labels on the Iams cans caught my eye and they also have a new slogan, no more "good for life", it's "life's better" now. Anyway, the food isn't better...

pressed rawhide
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I know not to give Zoe the big pieces of rawhide as she may have trouble digesting it or choke on it, but my bf says that is not an issue with the pressed rawhide because it is already granulated. Now, I know it is not the best to give, but is it bad in a dangerous way at all? We gave her a little...

Has your dog every gotten a mosquito bite? If so, what do you do? Is it something for me to worry about? Then the other night I noticed that he was biting one area on his chest...

What should I do?

I need some help from fellow idoggers... This coming weekend, the fiance and I want to go camping in a remote area with a lake. While it is possible to take Sierra, it would be a bit of a downer since we want to go boating and will be quite active, and may not be able to take her in all our ventures...

I was watching a movie last night and Vinnie, my 1 yr old lab, was laying at my feet taking a nap. He was on his stomach and his body started to move (kind of like severe twitching/shaking all over, not very violently-he remained in the same position, he didn't make any noise). I put my hands on...

I think she wants to play, but I don#%92t know how to get her to stop behaving this way without acknowledging the behavior in an attempt to stop it. Also, we haven#%92t found an effective...

Man I love happy endings! I wish I saw more of them! They got her owners phone number and called...
