First Time EVER!?!?!?!?

I've never ever seen Rudolf The Red nosed Reindeer before. DH is making me watch it. It was one of his favorites when he was little. What Christmas shows did you watch when you were little & what were your favorites?

Disclaimers

Community Help Center
I have added an obligatory disclaimer to my signature (those who know me here understand that I hate typing long posts - just easier to put it there) but while I was formulating it something occurred to me. We are only required to post disclaimers on training & behavior video links & issues,...

Jack Brag....
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
OK, I know this is minor compared to the stuff that most other dogs have accomplished on here, but it is a big thing for Jack. Jack could heel on leash before his surgery, but we have literally not worked on anything resembling a heel since April and he has never done it off leash. But---yesterday at...

"Dry" Season - skin and hair tips?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
One of the many reasons I despise west Michigan winter is the dryness. My skin gets dry and sometimes my entire body itches and burns like I have sunburn. Also, my hair gets really stringy, flat, and static-y during the winter. Right now for my hair, I wipe mouse on my hands and then run my fingers through...

Thinking about getting her work published..(rantish..)

I'm a writer.. And I've been published in the poetry.com books a few times. I want to publish my work but I'm not sure if it will go anywhere. I've been told people like it, but I'm really hard on myself so of course, I don't believe them. Lol. I'm in a stupid dilemma (stupid...

Installing a Dishwasher Today....Any Hints?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
So, our old DW was on it's last legs. The new DW was delivered yesterday & we (mostly I) said that we'd install it, NP! Now I get to try & do that today. Any hints? I was the one who installed the old DW & it looks like the install is just the reverse. Any hints on making sure I don't...

Agility Class, no big things but proud of Ben
Posted to:

We had a nice agility class today...nothing spectacular but it did really hit me how much he's learned, and how much agility has done for us in terms of our relationship and how responsive he is to me. He's still having a few issues with the collapsible tunnel...he hasn't been quite right...

Broken Illuminations (New Story)

Broken Illuminations She wasn't a very happy girl. She hadn't been since she had been small. She was dark, and broody, angsty and anxious, intellectually intelligent and socially stupid. And then she met him. The one. He was smart, funny, quirky, quick on the draw, but slow to remember past happenings...

Apparently our little trip up to the in laws this weekend netted us a bug! Elias went down with it first....then Lily. Now normally I do NOT catch these things....something about being a Mother strengthens your immune system...at least for me...but this one did catch me. Mostly my throat and nose...

puppy barks all day while owners are away

My sister and her husband have a 5-mo old Golden Retriever. They live in a gated community. Every morning, their puppy gets a 1-hour walk; then, he's supplied with a couple of Kongs and some toys, and he's put in the backyard. When they come home, he gets a 1/2 hour walk and plays fetch for another...
