OK, I know this is minor compared to the stuff that most other dogs have accomplished on here, but it is a big thing for Jack. Jack could heel on leash before his surgery, but we have literally not worked on anything resembling a heel since April and he has never done it off leash.
But---yesterday at the park I actually got a decent off leash heel! We did it a couple of times and I didn't have him do it for very long each time, but he actually heeled and paid attention to me, and when he did have the mind to sniff at something on the ground a little "eh-eh" got his attention right back to me.
