Babydoo and her sister Midnight are both purebred Siberian Huskies.  We obtained the girls from our local breeder.  Like the breed standard the girls love to play and run for hours non stop.   Some of their daily activities include long walks; four wheeler riding and a good game of catch me if you can.  As a Siberian owner we have adopted a motto:  If you intend to acquire one and only one dog, be aware of the “potato chip” syndrome (you can#%92t have just one) – a rare yet incurable illness that affects many Siberian owners. It usually starts with the desire to own just one special Siberian, and before long, that one Siberian has turned into two, three and so on.

I was at dog.com and I couldn't find this section.  How do you get to it from the dog.com main page?

Oh how fun!  I want to play!

Nikki is an 16 month old Jack Russell Terrier and Chihuahua mix, or so I was told :)  Her favorite thing to do is RUN really fast with her buddies out where her big brother, Stryder (horse) lives.  She also likes to go for trail rides with us.  At home she loves her mini-tennis balls and to kill her stuffed toys.  Her favorite treat is liver snaps.

Missy is a 2 yrs old mix that I got from the Humane Society that came in as a Stray.  She's loves her mini-tennis balls, they are her favorite possession.  She loves to go for walks, and to play ball, but her favorite is to sleep on the couch or on a hot day on the cool tile in the kitchen.  Her favorite treat is dried chicken jerky.

    What fun!

Don't let the serious look fool you.  Grady is 100% nutjob.  He is a joy & a handful @ the same time.  He has a zest for life that is infectious.  He's equally happy playing with his friends @ doggie daycare, snuggling with his mom or playing with is little brother, Aspen.  His favorite foods are the ones I give him.  He's not picky but he'd never ever ever pass up a meaty bone!

Here's a photo of my 4-year old Pug mix "Pudgy" with her gigantic bone.  I adopted Pudgy from a local shelter in Sept. 2004 and she has been a wonderful part of my life.  Although she's got a comical personality and is affectionate with people, the "Pudge Meister" is very feisty around other dogs.  Pudgy is a lot of dog in a little package but don't tell her that she's little!

This is Miss Daisy Sky- queen of the "castle". She is *probably* a shih tzu, but we're not sure if she's purebred. She was adopted in April of 2004 (april 25 to be exact) from the Ft. Worth Animal Control. She is a co-ed at college right now, and lives with my room-mate's dog, Oscar. Her favorite passtimes include frolicing in the grass, sniffing other pup's butts, and playing with her toys.  Cheese and buiscuts are her favorite treats.

Dasher is an 18-month-old Jack Russell Terrier. One thing is for sure, Dasher is all terrier!! He spends most of his day patrolling the yard making sure we are free of any varmints such as cats, squirrels, and bunnies. Unfortunately for Dasher, he has not been able to actually catch any, but that does not deter him. When not doing yard patrol, Dasher is learning agility and he is a natural. He zips around the course at super sonic speeds. We can#%92t wait to take the agility world by storm!! After a long day on the job Dasher loves to nap in the sun on our bed or under a blanket on the couch.

SeraJ -- Missy does look like Pudgy but from your pics, it appears that Pudgy is a lot bigger.  Pudgy is 30 pounds, about 15" tall (from foot to head) and very muscular.  She has very short legs, ears are erect but flop at the ends, and her tail curls when she is excited.  Her face above the eyes wrinkles like a pug's and she is brindle in color except for having a black face and muzzle.  Missy is the first dog I've seen that really resembles Pudgy though.  I'll post more pics soon.  Please post more pics of Missy also!

My name is Jet, but momma calls me Tri-ing.  I#%92m very handsome.  I am a basenji and my lineage dates all the way back to ancient Egypt.  Then we were companions to the gods (pharaohs).  Now were companions to mere mortals, but they make for an okay household staff.  Because I#%92m so handsome, I go to dogshows.  But I did so well with that I finished and now I do agility.  People often come from miles to watch the Jet Show in the ‘gility ring.  I also spread joy by going to visit people in the nursing and Alzheimer#%92s homes.  I like going there because they always notice how handsome and clever I am.

Amber is a Champion Saluki. Salukis date back at least 7,000 years to the Persian region now known as Saudia Arabia. They were originally called the Persian Gazelle Hound because, not only did the Bedouians use them to hunt gazelle, they actually resemble them as well. Amber was whelped 2 months after my beloved Saluki, "Rose", died and I have irretrievably spoiled her. She is incredibly intelligent and loving to those she knows, but she can also be very snarky and moody. She is a lovely example of her breed and probably has the longest color designation ever - Irish marked black fringed red sable.

Maria,  Love your "monster dogue!"  What a face, great puppy photo (now that's a BIG pup).  I have a little "monster dogette" -- a big dog in a little body.  Here's a photo of my Pudgy "on the run."  She really can scoot on those little legs of hers.  Other photos in previous posts.
