Wish I'd seen this thread earlier.

Xerxes is a Pharaoh Hound and a great breed ambassador.  He's very reserved and feels like he needs to be treated with all the respect due to a Pharaoh.  The breed is known for being intelligent, independent and somewhat stubborn.  They will chase anything that moves and therefore are not completely trustworthy off lead.

Tivo is a Yorkie Maltese (and maybe some Shi Tzu) mix - and he is going to be 3 in September, 2006. He is the best and softest thing that has ever happened to us. He has a huge toybox full of toys and YES, he plays with every one of them. Spoiled you say?? Nah, just loved to death. He's the best thing in the whole world.

This is skeeter. He is a westhighland white terrier.  He is full of life and full of himself.  He spends his days chasing squirrels and his fur brother and sisters.  He is the only one of his breed in our county. We love him more than life!  He was around four months in this picture he is now nine months

Hershey and Daisy are labradoodles. They are the sweetest dogs. They are so great with my daughter and love playing with other dogs. I got labradoodles because I have severe animal allergies. But they dont' bother me at all. I can smush my face in them and give them lots of kisses and not even a sniffle. They love to cuddle and are just big lap dogs. I got Hershey first after I lost my cockapoo. I thought my heart would never mend until I met Hersh. I loved him so much I wanted another and so Daisy came along. I couldn't be happier.

This is Jojo the Pogo, or Monkey Man, or Scruffin' Mc gruffin'.  I rescued him.  He had 2 homes before he was 6 months old and before he entered my life.  The first home said they couldn't house train him and left him outside.  They didn't give him much of a chance, because they gave him to an old roommate of my now husband at 4 months old.  She was one of those people who goes through pets like dirty underwear, she got bored with him.

From the moment I met Joey, I fell in love.  The roommate never spent anytime with him, yet complained that he was wild.  I walked him.  I bought him dog food after she ran out and fed him bread for 2 days.  I bought him his crate, in which her response was, "he's only going to cry all night in that crate."  After I cared for him for 4 months she told me she was going to give him back to his previous owner, "because he was impossible."  She came home one day and Joey was gone.  I took him.  At the time I was an independent college student paying for my tuition, my apartment and everything else.  I couldn't afford him, so I begged my mom to take him.  She did and gave him back to me as a college graduation present.  Best present ever - he was always my dog anyways.

Jaime, you know the problems I have with pictures [:D] so maybe you could just steal one from my profile or signature?? Max was adopted from the shelter in July of '04 and was about 3 to 5 months old.  He had found his way to (or was dumped out on) one of the county roads, picked up and taken to the shelter where he spent about 10 days before I found him. To the best of my knowledge, he's a GSD/yellow lab X.  He loves:  going for walks, going to the dog park, snuggling up on the electric blanket in the winter, snoozing under the fans in the summer and getting attention from anyone who will give him some.
He hates:  going out to pee in the rain and really hot days.
