*WANTED* Photos of YOUR dogs!!!!

Hi, My name is Cassie.  I'm a shih tzu (supposedly purebred). I'm 8 years young. And I want to say that for us dog who like a short hair-do there's nothing beats a good groomer.  Mom opted for convenience and went to someone closer. And my last cut is not fit to post!  Needless to say I will be going back to my usual groomer in about 2 months even if mom does have to find something to do for 3 hours while she waits for me. After all I'm worth it!

Sara is my Black Lab she is about 2 yrs old. She loves to  go on long walks and loves to be a lap dog. I got her when she was just a puppy. A friend had told me about her running around near her house. And her grandfather was going too shoot the dog. So  I had taken her home. So pretty much saved her life. She has been a great  friend and im lucky to had found her!!

Bubba is my 7yr old Boston Terrier. I have had him every since he was just a little guy. He use to be in too everything!! Use to love to chew the walls and the table cloth. He has now grown in too a very  smart and loving dog.

He is a  shy little guy when it comes to other doggie friends. But he  loves  any attention he can get. He was my first small dog, and now I don't think I could ever live with out a BT. They may be small but don't tell them that!!

Sasha is our 4yr, old(approx. age) German Shepherd. We adopted her a little over 2yrs. ago from the Spartanburg Humane Society in South Carolina. When we first brought her home she was very timid and underweight. She would just hide under the bed most of the time. She sure has gotten over that. We were actually planning on getting a small dog but when we seen Sasha something just told me I had to bring her home. I am so thankful for her allowing us to love her everyday she is really a great girl. She has her issues but I know she definately loves her Daddy's!

Jake is our 8 month old male Pointer. We are currently fostering him through Pointer Rescue (PRO). I had been thinking of fostering for awhile when someone posted here on idog 2 Pointers in TN needing foster homes. Although I had never really dealt with this breed when I seen the pics of Jake and his brother something again said go get him. So we contacted the rescue and went through there screening process to be approved to foster and on 03/17/06 we drove to Johnson City,TN to pick Jake up. All I can say is that Jake is a very loving boy but fearful. He has had a hard start in life but hopefully by giving him the love and training he will blossom into a great dog! He has allready changed so much in the short time we have been fortunate to have him with us.

Odie is a 3 year old Toy Fox Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier. My boyfriend found this little guy in a pile of leaves 2 years ago and I'll never for get the day I came home from work to find this little, skinny pup with the biggest ears and brown eyes I ever saw staring up at me. Odie is full of energy and love to play with tennis balls, destroy stuffed animals, jump high, and give LOTS of licks and kisses to everyone he meets. I'm sure my boyfriend regrets bringing Odie in my life because it's obvious I love the dog more than him now. Ha ha. :):):)

Guinness is a 21 month old Entlebucher Sunnenhund. She is one of the 4 swiss mountain dogs. The others are the Greater Swiss, the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Appenzeller. Entles are very dedicated to their owners, frequently becoming one person dogs. They are very adept at herding livestock, most frequently cattle.

Entles are not recognized as an AKC breed. Much work is being done within the breed to insure that the breed stays pure and that we can breed out a few gentic diseases such as PRA. There are currently less than 2000 Entles in North America.

Harley is a 2 year old male Shih Tzu.  We just got him on March 27, 2006.  We adopted him.  He is a sweet little guy.  He loves to play and be around us all the time.    Harley likes to ride in the car, too. Sometimes it sounds like he is talking.  He sounds like a gremlin.   We all love this sweet lil guy![:D]

Shadow is 2 years and 9 months. He is a mix of Siberian Husky and Lab. He loves to play tug with the ball, sometimes followed by lightning quick runs around the yard. It is awesome to watch him at full speed. At 58.5 pounds, he pulls like a freight tain. He leaves the birds alone but chases squirrels. At night, he come up to us and say "hown" which means "I'm ready to be brushed and groomed." Having walked him with mushing commands, I may one day build a dog cart and away we'll go.

Here's Miss Maddi [:D]. She's going to be 17 months old May 4 and, boy, does she act every bit her age. She's your typical alaskan malamute, meaning that there has to be a really good reason to do all these silly tricks I have her do (liver treats are good enough to her!). She's also that happiest dog I've ever met (and silliest!). Her favorite things to do are play with other dogs, go for walks, and play tug-o-war and "see if you can get the tennis ball from me!" She also really enjoys chasing the cats.

This pictures were taken in Early-Mid March.... I think.

This is Riley and his brother Sam, the two Maltepoos.  They are brothers from the same litter and born 5 minutes apart.  They will be one year old on 5/22/06 and we just can't believe how time flies. They love to run in the yard, chase each other and wrestle all the time.   They come running when they hear the word "cookie" (which is their freeze dried chicken breast) and they are all around just extremely playful and loving.

Odin (left) and Loki (right) are male Norwegian Elkhounds. Loki is 14 months and we've raised him since 8 weeks. Odin is a rescue dog who has been with us for almost 2 months. We think he's about the same age as Loki. They are wonderful boys who love to play. Odin is a mama's boy who craves love and Loki just wants to stay in his yard all day long.
