Uh, anyone know if used tires are OK? I've been calling around and a reputable shop in town will install the two tires I need for $70!

Uhm... what kind of car do you drive?  You don't have to worry about snow/ice, but you do have heat concerns living in FL.  How many miles do you drive on average a month?

If you have a BJ's or Costco membership, you can usually get cheaper tires purchased and installed there.

hate my front load washing machine. It's older and came with our condo though, so it's probably not top-of-the-line.

But, what is it that you don't like about it...compared to top loaders?

Oh joy...Tessy's got a limp now!  Off to make some camomile tea for her & me.

BARB....leave some things for the other shoppers if you can.  Have fun.

Paige....the berries are out so ya better get here quick....and don't even think of coming if you ain't got Gracie with you!  :)

If anyone else wants any there's lots.  I'll eat these all day now!  hehe

My friends are going skydiving tomorrow....I'm so friggin jealous right now!!!  I wish they wouldn't even tell me.

A Chevy Aveo. The tires are only 14 inchers, LOL. I used to drive a TON, but since I've cut my work schedule back I really don't drive that much. I asked FH's dad and he said I probably shouldn't.

Nothing yet. Well, -I- haven't sold anything. Less than $10 of my gramma's and aunt's books have sold, and a bit of clothing. What the heck? Are there no baby girls in this town? :( It's cold, maybe low 50s. My aunt and mom went to check out another sale, so I'm here alone. Sonja's sleeping. I need to spend some time in the bathroom but I'm afraid somebody will come. :\

It sounds silly, but I like to put the water and soap in BEFORE I add the clothes. Obviously can't do that with the front loader. I don't think it shakes (I don't know the technical term LOL) the clothes around as much either. Stuff just doesn't look as clean to me. BUT, I don't even know what brand it is, and it's probably at least 5 years old. The water/soap thing just really irks me :)

I do the same thing, Meg. (and Barb!) I'm rich! 50 cents. :P Some older guy came and said to call him after the sale was done. His daughter does missionary work in ... um ... somewhere, Africa and Nigeria I think he said, and he wants to know how much I'd sell all the remaining baby clothes to him for. So that's kinda cool. I have no idea how much to ask, though. Right now everything's marked at 50 cents. There's about a bazillion things. So If I do it at half price, I'd be a quarter of a bazillionaire? I wonder if I could retire on that.

The lad didn't get home until 7 this morning. One of the players had what was assumed to be a nasty concussion and, since he was riding with the trainer and had the cards needed to get medical attention, they had to go back to take him to the hospital. It ended up being a dehydration induced nasty migraine because he played in two games in a row.

Since the kid's parents were intoxicated and could not drive to stay with him at the hospital, the lad and trainer had to stay until he was released to go home.

So, all plans for the day are out and I need find something else to do. Going to work for a few hours (filling in for someone who will be in the parade). Maybe I'll run the pup somewhere

So bored. Can't you tell? I just made this the wallpaper on my mom's computer. Giant floaty Sonja head!

Hmmm. In Google Chrome. There's no options for resizing photos/smiley/etc.

    That would make anyone's day.

Jan - yeah, if you just want to get rid of the stuff, charge like $0.25 per piece/maybe $0.15 per piece depending on condition.

Barbara,  we have a Garmin Nuvi 255w GPS that we got for around $100 -- we like it a lot! Has all the features we need.  There is a 255wt model as well, that supposedly monitors traffic and avoids it, and MIL has that one, but I can't tell if it works any better since she can barely remember to hit the "go home" button to get back to her place.  LOL.

Jan, sorry you are so bored!  Hopefully you sell more things soon, or can get enough from that guy to make it worthwhile.  Depending on the exact number of a bazillion, mabye $30-50 for everything?

Today has been a nice, sit around and get nothing done, day.  But, I really need to get things done so off I go!

I suddenly woke up with a sore throat so David did dog-training all by himself (with just Tink) so I could sleep in and try to get rid of it.  I do feel a LOT better now than I did at 6:00 a.m.

    Laundry laundry and more laundry

Lauren -- I wish the absolute best for you today -- I hope it's perfect!!

John, pancakes sound like just the ticket today! Yum.

Glenda -- DO enjoy thta house you hear!!!

Jan -- I learned years ago, a garage sale will decrease the surplus "stuff" around your house but generally won't leave anyone a zillionaire!!  That's in the rules somewhere I think.

I've got it all counted and boxed up. There are about 250 items. Most of it is in nice shape, some of it has been worn by a few kids and is more worn. It's a lot of Carter's brand. I think I'll ask for $50.
