I finished the teenagers quilt at 2:30am, went to bed at about 3am and had the fur ball posse in my face demanding food at 7am. It was ok though, the body is use to that, what I was not prepared for was the fact that I was out of coffee creamer for my coffee. So I was at the store at 7:30am.

Much much cooler here, so I am making Chili tomorrow...woohoo!

I'm feeling exceptionally mindless today!  It's ugly outside so I think a hike is outta the question.  I've had a headache in the top right of my head for over a month now....might actually take something for it today!

I'm thinking blackberry pancakes for brunch.  I got a few sample packs of loose leaf tea yesterday...can't wait to try some! 

I think there might be something wrong with the dogs today.  They're all sleeping & Tessy is farting!

Johnny, hope your head gets better.  A month is a long time to have a headache.  :(   Tessy, farting is not very ladylike but when you gotta toot, you gotta toot. lol

It's overcast and soggy here this morning.  When the sun comes out, if it comes out, it will be a steam bath of a day.  We're dragging around this morning and need to get moving.  The dogs are all way past ready to go to the park.  Belle has glued herself to my side.  It took the longest time, after I got her,  to teach her to sit to have her collar and lead attached before outings.  She follows me around and sits herself down in front of me, blocking my path, to make sure I notice that she's being good and is ready to go, in case I didn't know. lol   Much better than the crazy, wild thing that used to run laps across the living room and bounce off the furniture in excitement.   She's still excited but has learned some self control.  Some....... lol

Gabby is the funniest puppy or maybe it's just that I haven't had a puppy in a long time. :) She comes up with a new antic every day that cracks us up.  Yesterday she got her little cuz and proceeded to jump on the couch and throw it off, retrieve it, jump back on the couch, repeat, repeat, repeat. lol   She's very good at amusing herself in the crate too.  She holds a toy in her front paws and twirls it around, tosses it and catches it in her mouth and all the while she's muttering to herself in her adorable Gabby voice.  She loves to jump and leap.  She leaps over any little thing in her path as though she was clearing hurdles.  Can you tell I'm ridiculously in love with her? 

Glenda, I hope you enjoy your weekend in your new house.  Take it easy and savor being there and do something for yourself. :)

DS has decided that he needs a dresser, which, yes, he really does so we're going to yard sale today.  Fingers crossed that we find something good, cheap!

And yes, this weekend I'm pretty much just going to enjoy the house.  I've earned it!

UFC tonight. So excited. ok, not really. I don't even watch UFC, and it just means I have to make my house spotless cause I'm going to have a houseful of people tonight. Joy and Bliss.

On a happier note, I can already see a marked improvement in Kelci's skin. Her torso is pretty much all cleared up, her face isn't red at all and while the rough patches on her legs and arms are still there, at least they aren't fire engine red anymore, just pink.

 I don't have much time today, I am getting ready for a friend's wedding, but I just wanted to drop in and say:

 HAVE A GREAT WEDDING LAUREN!!!!!  

 I'm not in the best of moods right but just wanted to share...

My mom went yard sale'ing this morning. She managed to find a "foreclosure, everything must go, FREE"

My daughter is now the proud owner of a beautiful, HEAVY chest of drawers.

I think I'm coming over to Johnny's house for blackberry pancakes this morning!  YUMM-O-RAMA!

My training friends took me out for dinner last night.  They are excellent company.  Had a great time, but I ate too much yummy Italian food.  Thankfully I was wise and only had two drinks, because I need to focus on this proofreading.  I also need to type up the script for the demo team.  I'm skipping out on a competition today to help someone (at least I think so?) and re-starting Bugsy's training in hopes of curbing some of his boisterous activity.  His mom is having surgery in 5 weeks and I'd like to have some leverage to keep him from hurting her during recovery.  This takes a serious amount of effort with an intact male Bull Terrier... this should be an education for me! lol

As I struggle to get myself motivated I think, "Omg what did I ever do without interactive food toys?" Lol. I was trying to read my stupid textbook and the boys came in like "ok, Mommy let's PLAY!"... Now they're in a completely different room amusing themselves with their toys.

Yay for the house!

Glad to hear Kelci's skin is clearing up.. I would imagine it'd feel itchy and irritating?

 Hap and I now have matching bloody-looking eyes :(. On the plus side, I get to go to a trivia night :D. And "Let Me In" is coming out soon...I absolutely love the book so yay. I also really, really want to see "life as we know it" lol.

I have been away all week, so I'm sure I've missed loads.  So, good vibes to all and one big group hug.

We are going shopping today...woohoo!  We rarely go shopping together, Rick and I.  But, we are going to go shop for:

1. fabric door covering.  Get this...twice, not once...but twice I ordered some fabric door coverings from JCPenny.com.  Both orders were canceled by the manufacturer.  So...two weeks lost.  Grrr.
2. washer/dryer.  I have been wanting a front load washer forever now.  And, my daughter is in desparate need of a washer/dryer set.  I learned earlier this week that her apartment complex closed down the laundry room onsite...so she has been having to go to an offsite laundromat to do the family's clothes.  Good grief.  A family of 4 girls + a ridiculous amount of clothes to do in one sitting + $60.00 per wash day = time for me to get her a washer/dryer for her apartment.  So, I get new and she gets my current...and all is happy.
3. I want a GPS system for my car...so gonna look at some inexpensive ones.
4. Rick wants to look at some TVs for the bedroom.  I don't think we need one, but ok....if it makes you happy.

Last evening we went out for mexican food and I had 1 jumbo raspberry rita.  Oh yea...a bit hungover this morning.  No cheap date jokes please.

Spend some money for me, Barb, although I'll say I hate my front load washing machine. It's older and came with our condo though, so it's probably not top-of-the-line. I got my financial aid refund and student loan yesterday but bit the bullet and paid off my credit cards :( then kicked myself in the booty for having so much debt and put my cards back in the freezer so I won't do that again. Gotta get tires today and P's teeth cleaned and it'll be all gone.

Speaking of tires, I'm going to call around and get prices. Off I go!

I hope Lauren's day is as beautiful as it should be. I don't suppose she'll have time to pop in?

It's not even 8 yet and I've showered and got some cleaning done. I'm off to the grocery store and then home to wash my car and then more cleaning. My friend arrives at 9 tonight and I always worry that things won't be perfect when she gets here. She's my best friend and I know she doesn't care, but that doesn't stop me. DH has been a sweetie about working to make the backyard look perfect too. Hopefully I'll get a nap in or I'll be dozing off by the time she arrives.

Johnny - I hope your headache gets better but that is a long time to have one. If it continues, you might want to see your dr. You know how we worry here
