Cocker Spaniels, I was thinking about getting this breed of dog for my family. What can you tell me about them? Any health problems? I have had several other breeds of dog.

A is for Australian Shepherds!
Just came in my office to find the two little bossy Aussies lying on the floor upside down with their mouths wide open, and that little Aussie smile thing goin' on. Cute as a button, one little pink belly and one little speckled belly side by side.

Australian Cattle Dogs (can you say herd?)

Hanging Tree Dogs?
Has anyone heard of a Hanging Tree Dog? There was an article in the local paper about them on Wednesday. They are a working cattle dog that is a mix of several breeds. Of course the reporter listed them as a BREED rather than a mix, but I have got to wonder: are they any better at this than ACDs or BCs...
