Rainbow Bridge
The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

Casper
Don't worry everyone, Pirate is A-OK! I work for a pet sitting company over the holidays, and we've been caring for a JRT pup named Casper. He hadn't been feeling well and had been throwing up bile while he was in our care. Unfortunately, he had ingested something poisonous and was...

It's been a whole year since I lost my girls to cancer. Thumper died at home on December 2nd and Angel had to be put to sleep on Dec. 6th, I still miss them very much, they were my babies. Thumper was 10 and part aussie shepherd and shar pei, Angel was 9 1/2 and was an aussie shepherd/lab mix. R...

Samantha's final resting place
My beloved pug girl Samantha, crossed the bridge 2 weeks ago today. I know you all know the pain, heartache and void of losing your beloved furbaby. The crying is almost non-stop the looking for her/him in their favorite spots in your home, the familiar things they did everyday that you long for. After...

Samantha has crossed the bridge, bye angel
Hi, everyone. Our little pug girl, Samantha, left us on Friday am. She was 7 and had a relapse of an auto immune disease that attacked her platlets and red blood cells. She had this once before 2 years ago and got Thur it ok. When she relapsed this time we thought she'd pull thru again. She was hospitalized...

Losing my best friend
Sierra, could you please add my precious Tippie to the Rainbow Bridge pics. My life will never be the same without her. The pic below should be small enough to add. I really need to see her there if you can make room. Thank you so much for doing this for all of us pet lovers. Tippies Mom

In memory of Harley
I havent posted in over a year but I thought I should post this. Harley passed away suddenly and without warning at the age of 3 1/2 yesterday afternoon. I am utterly devestated and totally lost without him.

Daisy ~ My Angel
Daisy was my angel. She came to me at a time when I had lost my poodle pup Rocco only 1 month prior. She filled my heart the moment I saw her. I purchased her from a nasty pet shop when she was just a pup. I was told by the owner nobody wanted her because she was not agressive. I could not believe what...

My Meka the Mighty
I can't bear to write anything other than that he was the best doggie and friend I've ever known. He went to the rainbow bridge to wait for us almost two years ago and it is still very hard to talk about him! I miss him very much and can't wait to see him again. Love ya Meka-Doo be a good...

A poem for those who have lost their beloved dogs.
For those of you who have lost a beloved dog, my heart goes out to you. There can be a hole in your heart for a long time that is hard to fill. For those who have had to make the final decision to release your dog from pain, my heart aches for you. I had to make the decision for my 15 year old cat...

Echo's gone
Jen had Echo put down on Wednesday. She was just going through too much. She hadn't eaten a real meal in more than a week. She just watched the other dogs play and her quality of life had just deteriorated to far. She made one last trip home to her house in the country and that was it. Thank you...

A tribute to Flapjack
I was volunteering at the shelter when he came in. A gray faced beagle looking confused about his new surroundings. He had not one, but two separate chain links on his collar that were completely worn through. He had been chained for most of his long life, and finally made his escape. He was given a...
