Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Dakota is a beautiful girl.  Run free Dakota, you will be remembered.  Erica1989, send Dakota the hand gesture in my sig.  Its the ASL hand signal for ILY or I love you.  I am sure she knows this.

    She got many hugs, kisses, and I love yous before she passed. She was such a good girl, just not cut out to be living in a kennel, most shepherds don't make it long. She lasted quite some time - was there since August.

    I feel your pain, I feel like such a failure too that I left my little girl go too, wonder when this pain will go away, I can not stop crying.  Run free and happy little dogs.

    Oh Gosh that was a tough way to wake up! Whew... I am sorry for your loss! She was beautiful! And I bet she knew how loved and lucky she was to have you!
