spay/neuter bill in CA
This bill would make spaying/neutering mandatory for cats and dogs in California by 6 months of age. There are a bunch of exemptions: show dogs, athletes, therapy dogs, etc. It was pulled out last session, but it's just been re-introduced. i saw that animal cop show on animal planet where they have an ambulance for animals, pay for animals vet bills before putting them up for adoption. then they pay for vet bills for owners on public assistance, but take dogs away from people who cnt afford et bills but arnt on assistance. im not sure...

An interesting view on an "attack"
I must say I am a bit torn over this article. I mean, the child WAS annoying the dog, and the dog reacted accordingly. I do not think the dog should not be put down....it bothers me that there seems to me a "this lady is crazy" slant to the article. But it is very sad about how badly the child...
