My Shep Mix Lily is 45 lbs, and my Tzu is 13 lbs, i figured that i would get them the middle size ball and go from there.  I am now just waiting for it.  I would suggest the medium size ball for your schnauzer.

I ordered one too and am just waiting for it to arrive.  I was wondering though...does it come apart at all?  If not, how would you ever clean the inside of it?  If I used a dried treat I wouldn't be concerned, but I was thinking about putting chunks of meat in there.  I guess you could just put it in the sink with hot, soapy water and swish it around huh?

I got the small ball and she loves it! Playing nonstop since I opened it. Depending on the treat it has taken her up to 2 hours to get it out (obviously smaller treats come out quicker). She even plays with it when it is empty! I love it. (The noise is kind of annoying though)

I just ordered one for Wesley - I CANNOT WAIT until it arrives - he ruins every toy in minutes, it is like he wants to make a mockery out of any toy manufacturer who clams its toys to be indestructible [:D]!!

I just tried again, I can't get it to let me order one. I guess I'm gonna give up or print out the form.

Fo those of you who can't get the dog to play with it...try putting some grilled chicken in it.  I did that with one of dogs and that works well.

As far as cleaning it...I just stuck the hose in and washed it off.

I just ordered two mediums for the boys - I'll let you know how it works.

Hopefully I can get Cole to not gulp his food if he has to work for it - heh, heh.

Ok, i got it, and Charlie my tzu is actually the one playing with it.  He usually doesn't play with much.

Would this be safe  to leave in the crate while we are not home?  Are rawhides safe, or any toys for that matter?  Im so worried about choking, it seems if you think enough they can choke on just about anything you leave in there with them.

Ok just ordered 2, one for the puppy Bailey and one for my moms dog.  Bailey is a freaking bullet all day, I just cant keep up, and she puts just about everything she can get to in her mouth to chew on even tho she has toys everywhere so I hope this will keep her more entertained than I can (she does get a walk too). My moms dog Minnie is overweight (only 3 years old) and does nothing but sleep all day other than her walk, but we dont think the walk is enough, so hopefully this will provide her some extra exercise.  Cant wait to get them and see how they do!

I have to get one of these. Sam isn't a toy-destroyer, but he need something like this to kill some energy on.

I got mine today. The girls absolutely love them. I put some homeade liver treats in them. I cut the pieces big enough to make it hard to get them out. One of my dogs usually pays no attention at all to toys. But she loves this one! I think her being able to see the treat inside really got her attention! And of course the liver treats really smell strong too so that helps.

I am so excited finally to have a toy that interests her! Thanks for sharing this link Mic!

I am so glad so many dogs are getting to enjoy this toy.  I have had mine for about a month and they still go after it.  Two of my dogs play with it with or without a treat inside.
