Greatest dog toy EVER!!!

    Greatest dog toy EVER!!!

I have a bunch of really big dogs, and we have a heck of a time finding any toys that can withstand there punishment and still remain interesting to the dogs.  Rope toys, xtreme kongs, hard bite sleeves, it doesn't matter how tough, my dogs can destroy them.

    UNTIL NOW!

I went to a dog show this past weekend and found the best toy ever.  I won't post the web site (because it is a sales site), but this toy has kept them all entertained for the past week, and looks good as new.

My border collies played with this thing for 3 hours straight, and then passed out from exhaustion.  The Rotts, Mals, and GSD's have beat it to death, and the toy seems indestructible.  I really am impressed.  I have seen things like it before, but nothing as tough, with all the features.

If anyone is looking for a really tough toy, PM me for the site.

Oh yeah!  PLEASE post the website.  My gsds tear everything apart and I'd love to find something that lasts longer than 2 minutes!

    I want one! DO TELL!

Ok...I wasn't sure, because there's no other purpose of the site, but to sell this toy.

    Here it is...

    Why I like this toy.
    1. It is indestructible!
    2. They can see the treats inside (completely clear).
    3. They can smell them.
    4. They can hear them.
    5. Comes in a bunch of different sizes.  You are supposed to get the ball that will be to big to fit in there mouth. That way it doesn't get hung up.
    6. Depending on the treat, it is really challenging.

I have bought similar ones before and when my Rotts can't get the treat out, they just rip it a part.  It is sooo nice to see them struggle, and exhaust themselves.

I have been using the curvy bacon strip things.  I feed them through the whole (you have to turn them a whole bunch of different directions to get them in), and the dogs fight so hard to get them out.  I have been blown away.

I will recommend this to all of my clients whose dogs have behavior problems or can destroy most toys.

To train my dogs on it I started with tiny pieces of freeze dried liver.  They came shooting out for like 20 minutes.  I also put 3 or 4 pieces in that would not come out.  My dogs have tried everything to get those last pieces of liver out.  As soon as they come outof there cages they run straight for the ball.  They knock it around until they pass out.

Anyway, check it out if you have a rough-n-tumble dog.

This may seem like a stupid question but how naisy is this toy? Our dogs have some sort of thing like a buster cube or whatever. It drives us nouts when they play withit becasue it is noisy. Any help on that???

    Great question...

The only time it kind of annoys me is when it rolls around on the kitchen floor (I had a buster cube as well...it had to go becuase of the noise).  I just keep it in the living room and it's no problem.

We had a learning experience with the treats as well. We started off with the "milkbone" kind of treats, and that was a bad idea.  Kind of like giving them a can full of pennies to play with.  Anyway, we got some bacon strips (the curly curvy ones) and some soft cookie shaped treats, and it is almost silent.  The soft ones work better anyway, because I kind of bend them a little and then they unfold inside the ball and it takes hours to get them out.

Mic, you've seen pictures of Sofia. She's husky/coyote/elkhound, a medium sized dog at 45 lbs. Which size ball would you recommend for her?
    • Gold Top Dog
I would get the biggest one.  My borders (about 40 lbs.) do great with it.  The smaller ones fit in there mouth two easily.

Hey Mic, is the ball made of plastic or more of a rubbery kind of material?  I'm asking because we have tiles and wood floors all throughout the house and unless it's rubber or something like it, it is extremely noisy.

Thanks Mic. She's got a pretty big gape, really, nearly as big as Stevie's was. It's so hard to tell online so I appreciate the advice.

That's great! I'm going to order one for my dogs. Emma hasn't shredded a black Kong yet, but she has destroyed everything short of that. And she weighs 16 pounds. She would have made a good police dog, LOL. She's ridiulously food and toy driven.
