Anyone can put a lock icon up on a page. Look at the address bar in your browser. It should start with "https://" instead of "http://" If it doesn't have the s, then it isn't secure. Maybe what you are saying is that your browser puts a lock icon up. But there are lots of browsers in the world, so the best way to tell is to look at the actual address. Sending your credit card online is safer than giving it over the phone, provided it's a secure site. People can use scanners to listen to cell phones and cordless phones. They can't "overhear" you on a secure site. • Kara Posted : 3/22/2006 8:09:30 AM I got mine! and luckily I got my dog too!   Unfortunately, Gracie isn't food driven. She never finishes all her food, except her raw chicken at night. Treats are viewed with indifference at best. So she just sort of looks at the ball like "Ya?" She is toy and praise driven. Or the little way-too-smart mutt will probably destroy it the way she did her buster cube-- put it where the UPS truck would back over it. She hated the noise of the buster cube when she rolled it around, but she really likes food. I wish I'd gotten a video tape of her destroying her buster cube.
