Erica, you must refer to Callie as "Callie the Dog" because I keep thinking you mean Callie the person and I'm pretty sure Callie the person does not fart.

The Pointer is just pacing around waiting to do his work. What I'm worried about is the sheer numbers of other hunters crowding this relatively small farm field.  So I'm just going to be sitting here waiting by the phone & hoping it doesn't ring. 

Believe me when I say I understand your worry and it's legitimate.  I've been on hunts with way too many guns and simply picked up and went home.  It's not worth risking my dog getting shot or me for that matter.  Drinking and hunting are a bad combo and adding too many hunters is asking for an accident.  If all the dogs and hunters are well trained it's not a problem but that is rarely the case with the dogs or the humans.  Dove season opened here in our zone today too.  It makes me kind of sad because I don't have a Lab to hunt with anymore.  I'll probably go and help with my friends Weim, Ruger, but it's not the same as having my own hunting buddy. :(  Twister loves to retrieve but he's a little sticky when it comes to dropping the birds. lol

Who said anything about drinking before hunting? ~L~  That comes later.  I have to go get a bottle of Porto for the apres hunt cocktail.  :)

I really hate the taste of dove so I'll go get some sushi or something before we go to dinner @ a friend's house.

LOL,  Amanda said the same thing about me yesterday and I was good all day, I think.  I was always such a nice, polite person till I met Tina and Deb.  Thank goodness!!

Yeah, I'm actually more worried about the stalker's safety now. LOL

I am in search of my "BS" flag so that I can wave it as the "sweet, innocent, nice & polite" Tina, & Jackie. 

The police have came & went.  Another coffee shop patron has filed a complaint on him as well, so I don't feel like I was wasting their time now.  I am going to stop by tomorrow & ask the owners of the shop to file a complaint as well.

LMBO!  After I called for a security escort, I called DH to let him know what was going on & to have him deliver Brutus.  His exact words, after asking if I was ok, were "You've got a gun in your purse.  What's the problem?"  It wasn't funny at the time, but, now, it's kinda funny.

Wow, that is really creepy and scary, Amanda.  You definitely did the right thing!  Watch your back, and let us know if you need us to come down to Texas to "take care of business." LOL.

I'm writing my first collections letter to an a-hole customer today.  He started off giving us the runaround on a past due invoice, and now he's avoiding us altogether.  Is he prepared to go to court over $800?  We shall see....

Another coffee shop patron has filed a complaint on him as well, so I don't feel like I was wasting their time now.  I am going to stop by tomorrow & ask the owners of the shop to file a complaint as well. 

Today is officially Awesome Purchase Day!  Two bad incidents from yesterday were completely resolved by purchasing new items today!  Yesterday I broke my lawnmower by slicing a rock in half in the yard and bending the blade up into the machine (thank goodness it didn't blow up!).  Sad panda, can't keep mowing.  And then Nike snitched my parents' dog's food at their house, and the hard switch did NOT agree with him, and the results of his intestinal distress are in several places on the living room carpet (EWWW).  But the good news!?  I have now purchased a GLORIOUS new Hoover Spin Scrub carpet cleaner that works like a dream, and was on SALE.  And...a brand-new Black & Decker electric lawnmower that was marked down 50% because it's missing the manual and had a teensy repair done.  AWESOME!  Who wants to mow the grass, ME! 

Heather, just let me know if you need some Texas backup on that customer......We all have guns here, even the good guys. lol

Lisa, isn't it great when bad turns to good!!  I just got a carpet cleaner and I don't know why I waited so long!!  Love it, love my carpet again.  It helps that DH does all the carpet cleaning.  He decided I wasn't doing a thorough job and took over that chore.  Hah!

 I'm not up to date with the current stalking laws and what can be done about someone like this creep, but I do hope that something can be done and action taken to stop this guy from transferring his target to someone else and it escalating to a horrible outcome. I hope the shop owner will help. Take care of yourself and stay safe!

PS I thought you had a concealed permit to carry - it's a scary thought to have to think about using it, but that's why we get them isn't it?
