I also have to laugh. One of the last times the WIngs won the Cup, I remember we were playing the Avalanche. I was at a horse show, I didn't know what was going on. I was driving home and I heard the Wing got past the Avs, I just about drove off the road I was so excited!!!

Oh Dave Lewis' daughter rides and I would see them at shows from time to time. I have not been showing lately but I think I need to attend some as a spectator. Steve Yzerman's daughter is now riding and he attends the shows to watch her. SERIOUS EYE CANDY!!!!

Perhaps I will have to go to Cheli's Chili during the playoffs to extend my Wing support. My dentist is the team dentist. I really want to go to Hockeytown Cafe, but playoffs might be a bit too crazy for me.

It's fun living close to Detroit during this time of year. The flags are on the cars!

They are looking strong...those Wings...the Stars are beginning to worry me with how easy they're dealing with the Sharks...BUT Turco has a mental block against us...so...we'll see!

That's the one good thing living in WI, they come on at 9:00 vs. and it makes a huge difference!

Gosh, I hope they sweep!  DH is devastated that he won't be able to watch game 5 since we will be driving home then.  When the puck drops we will just be leaving the WI so he probably won't be even able to listen to it on the radio.

Now I have to hope they can carry the momentum through the next round. I have heard if we play Dallas it could be a tough round. THE WINGS CAN DO IT!!!!! STANLEY WANTS TO COME BACK TO DETROIT!!!!! 

They took Game One! In such decisive fashion, too! Dallas is reknown for their "defense" but I sure didn't see much of that. Ott the goon was taking too many dumb penalties for a start.

Looking forward to watching the Pens/Flyers tonight. How excitng would Detroit/Pens be for a Final? Talk about offense! But..first...game TWO on Saturday.
