OMG I did not watch the game (I get WAY too nervous) we watched the last 1:52 of the game. I figured I was safe 3 zip and all. Then when we watched the highlights after the game and I saw that guy go SPLAT!!!! I could NOT stop laughing. How embarasssing to fall flat on your face on the opponents ice. Not to mention you are leading your team on the ice! OH I had a good laugh at that poor man's expense.

There is a house in my neighborhood that put a banner up in the picture window that says "HEY HEY HOCKEYTOWN!!!!" They have put every Wing jersey number on their house and have another banner hanging from there house. My guess is they are rooting for the Penguins...NOT!!!!

I see the Pens are going to turn to Headhunting when they cannot win without it. Franzen is a marked man and he should be careful. Ozzie was naughty for diving but hey...he's a goalie and someone touched him...most would do the same. It will be interesting and rather scary to see what happens Wed.

Did anyone notice how feisty one Pavel Datsyuk was tonight? Or notice how they waited for a night McCarty had off to start the dirty play? LOL...

I am so stoked! Again I have to confess I can't watch   DH had the game on a bit, but I was getting too nervous. I think the next two games will be VERY interesting! The Wings want this BAD!!! It sounds to me like they won't stop at anything to get back THEIR cup! While I was watching last night they were talking about the shots, man that Penguin goalie must be tired.

They're so good defensively they MUST be breaking the rules...we need more rules so the Redwings can lose.

That's a GREAT reason to add more rules...why didn't I think of that? Shoot why draft good players, develop talent, coach well, make good trades, play your butt of for 60 minutes, avoid taking stupid penalties...to win games. JUST CHANGE THE RULES!

Yes, I had some nice cheese with their whine last night during the press conference.  Don't you just love coaches that say the only reason their team isn't winning is because the other team isn't playing fair.  Yeah, sorry we are so good you can't get a goal.  Maybe we should spot you a few ahead a time to make it fair.

what's sad...is Buttheadman is JUST the type of guy to change rules to deliberately keep certain teams from winning...JUST to "level the playing field". He's an utter fool and has shown that over and over again. You watch...there will be a new set of "redwing rules" next season. Like ALL the refs in ALL the games are in the team's pocket. Puh-leeze.

I believe the Devil's did the same thing as the wings in 1995 and they were unstopped.  Teams just need to adjust.  The Stars didn't have a problem scoring on us.  I hate that whiny attitude.  Your team isn't winning because you, the coach did not prepare them properly for this team.  Adjust your coaching - don't just sit there and whine about it.  I guess when several other Pen's were asked about the "unfair playing method" their response was, no it's not unfair, they are just so good.

Plus, I would love to meet a goalie that didn't take a dive.  Sorry, they don't exist.

You tweak your lines yes...Bowman was king of that....but you don't change EVERYTHING in the finals after one game...you just don't. I think it was a bad move...and his attitude now sounds like he is defeated and grasping at straws. It's sad. A coach should be above that, prouder of his team than that. Sid has shown class and I think that is great...the captain should always have some class.

I won't say it's because he's F. Canadian (no I won't, and I'm not)...but he is reminding me of a certain big dumb goalie with a three letter last name who was a whiney stump as well!

Leave it to the losing team...I heard Crosby is whining too! GET OVER IT!!!! If you are as good as they say just play the damn game. I think their team is a little too young and lack play off experience. Our guys are a combination of experience, young and tough, and we don't take S*#@ lying down. I am not sure we will sweep (it would be nice) but we will fight to win.

You might recall Fleury as in Theoren Fleury little guy who did time with the Flames. Small and violent...had some troubles with the bottle I think.
