Should I be suspicious?

The things that make you say, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

That just isn't RIGHT Billy.. don't screw with poor Ed's head that way....

ED, I am still of the belief that there is nothing really wrong here.. that she isn't hiding anything AND it is all just because you two are feeling a little distant from eachother right now. Don't listen to Billy.. he will just make you paranoid![;)]

The fact that an extra phone added to your account could be a mistake by the company or even fraud, but the fact that all calls go to her work and cell........ding , ding....the warning bell is ringing.......

If it were me, I would be very suspicious.

I am more curious as to how the phone# was even added to your plan. I have Cingular and only thought that the primary account holder could add/remove numbers. But, then again, if she has your soc. sec.# and says she is your wife, then I'm sure the rep would probably let her add it. The first thing I would do would be to call Cingular and get as much detail about the number, when it was added, etc. Then I would get online to access the account information and look over phone calls, text messaging, duration of calls....Cingular should have all of your past statements available online since you opened up your account. Good luck, I hope it is nothing but it is extremely suspicious.

Well I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone at Cingular that can help me.  Methinks they're all outsourced phone jockeys that have a pre-determined script to read for any event or customer concern.  I'm waiting for a call back from a supervisor.

And Billy, it's been so long since I've had a chance to plant those fields that I thought she was being subsidized to NOT grow anything there.

I wouldn't screw with his head if I thought there was ANYTHING to this situation.

BTW, didn't Ed once tell us that one of the reasons he married Stella is because he knew she would never cheat?  Something about her being so ugly no one but him would do her in the first place?  [;)]

I have never called her ugly.  Bitchy-yes.  Ugly-Never.  But she has lost some of the luster that once attracted me to her.

I know the feeling and, from what I understand, so does Shelly.  [;)]

I have the impression she might even be goading you into accusing her of something - hence the deliberate evasiveness.  Like she wants you to notice and get a rise out of you.  Maybe she thinks you're not paying enough attention, or maybe she think your eye is wandering and she's trying to create some mystery/conflict/interest around what she actually IS doing.  Meaning, the phone could be something totally mundane, but she could be using your reaction to her advantage.  WAAAY manipulative, but people have been known to do these things...

And there's no reason why Cingular can't suspend the line while you resolve then when/how of the line getting added - if you're the only authorized user on the account.  GOOD LUCK!!

and how do presume to you think you know that?  [8|]

To be honest though Ed, you guys have been married for awhile now and things do really change after the first year or two...  I don't recall how long you and Stella have been married.. but speaking as someone who has been with the same person for over 12 years now.. change in this area is to be expected and quite often no cause for concern. But for you and Stella, the honeymoon has LONG been over so to speak  (although since DH and I are technically NOT married.. I never got a honeymoon.. sad, sad day....[&o] ;)

Hey this is about me and Stella...it's not the Billy and Shelly show![;)][sm=backtotopic.gif]

I think the concensus is that I should be a bit suspicious, and I'm more than just a bit suspicious.

No suspicion of wrong doing, but suspicion of something wrong.
