OMG CHEETAH CHEETAH!

ETA:  is there something wrong with the sound right now or is it my computer?

I was experiencing a lot of drop outs, sound and video, I imagine it has to do with the impending storm. The lightning was way cool! Has been a great day for viewing for us, wildebeasts, cheetah, lots of neat birds, rain and lightning.

I got the sound back, seen some lightening, but thats about it.

I imagine it will be quiet for awhile. Last time there was a big storm people commented about the drop off in sightings, probably because the animals can get water just about anywhere, without having to go to the watering hole.

I spent forever watching this baby baboon.  He seems totally confused by the water, especially in the middle... but by the end he seems to have somewhat figured it out.  Amazing how the gazelles dont mind it being in the water either....

Thanks Amy!  Those were really neat!  I FINALLY got to see some wildlife!  I wondered about this too.  I wonder what was upsetting her.

Impala again they are super delicate looking []...and raining again it looks like?

Wow the water hole has filled a bit with the rains....

Yeah I was thinking that.  In those links there are even multiple types of wildlife using the hole at the same time, but its a lot more shallow than now.  Once it dries up a good bit I bet we will see much more.  Although those videos were all from Oct - now.[]

This may have already been answered, but I'm way too lazy to go back and read through 6 pages - What are those things that just sort of flash across the screen?  At first I thought it might be lightning, but I've seen them come up out of the water hole and flash toward the sky, and come out of the sky and flash across the ground.
