are your dogs allowed on bed?

Yes, my two pups are allowed on  the bed. Lily has to sleep in between my fiance and I.  She weighs 45 lbs, and we have a queen size bed, so she usually takes up most of it.  Her and I actually share a pillow.  It is so ridicuolous I know, Charlie sometimes gets on the bed, I think when we go off to work they lay in bed together, because there is always an abundance of Lily hair on my comforter.  Funny story-last night I woke up at 2 am, Lily had such bad gas that she woke me up.  I let them outside but still, i was so irritated.

My dog and cat sleep with me, have ever since I got them.

    Absolutely NOT!  Lolol!!!

No, Shari doesn't.  She accidentally ended up on top of the bed once while trying to get out of the way of my son and didn't really know what to think, except "I gotta get off here".

When I was married and we had two dogs, they were allowed on the bed.  I quickly realized there was no room for me between them and my husband the bed hog.  When I acquired Shari and another big dog, I said no way, and provided them very nice beds on the floor.

Yes. Bailey sleeps with us on our bed and it's also her perch to watch for squirrels.

Tank, Shiloh, Molly and I go to bed so early because I have to get up so early. Some times hubby doesn't have the heart to boot them out and I wake up and find him on the couch.  They aren't allowed on the furnisher.

He actually likes to sleep in his own bed. But some times he does sneak in here for a bit....

Shadow sleeps on the bed. And if one of us needs him to move, he moves.

Luckily Dakota loves his crate, so many times before it's even 9:00, he's snuggled in it.  It's a good thing.  We've tried to let him sleep on the bed, but he's so active.  He thinks it's playtime.  He'll try to "dig" me out or he'll lick our faces off.  Plus he starts playing chase with the cats.  One cat will jump on the bed, and Dakota will chase it off.  As he's doing that, the other cat will jump on the bed.  So Dakota will chase it off as the other cat jumps back on the bed,...It goes on and on and on and on.  Obviously the cats love the game too.  It's too much of a circus with Dakota on the bed!!!

My little one loves the bed and unless some medical condition prevents it, she sleeps on the bed. I have (like others here) woken up to the reality that I only have maybe 1' of bed and the little one is sprawled across the rest of the bed. :)

I'm wondering if dogs by nature do not understand the concept of vertical vs horizontal. It works well for them so I guess they figure why change?

First we gave in on the couch (DH with Shaq), now they seem to be taking over the bed! (DH with Marley)

In general the couch is allowed, but the bed is a big NO.

Allowed on the bed?  Oh are they ever...

Takes full advantage of it too...complete bed hog [:'(]   I always find myself smushed up in a little ball every morning and look down to see that black mass sprawled full length across *my* part of the bed.  For being a fairly small dog he certainly takes up a lot of room...
