are your dogs allowed on bed?

My dogs are...but I am not!

Cats, yes, dog NO!  She takes up tooooo much room.

Yeah I let her on the bed for snuggle time and she sleeps with me when Paul has to work the night shift or sleeps with him when I am off rambling but we don't let her on the other furniture.[;)]

Jasmine gets to go anywhere she wants to!  LOL!  She snuggles on the couch with us, or sleeps down by our legs at night!

Marianna, there isn't any room for people on that bed!

I know! We kept fighting for space, until I bought really nive cushions for them. They are allowed on bed only during the day. At night, only the small ones can sleep with me.

Yep...I have a king size bed and they squish up so close to me that I'm hugging the edge by the middle of the night.  It's also their wrestling ring, as well.
    • Gold Top Dog
Well they did. I had to put a stop to it after a year or two of waking up hugging the last three inches of the edge of the bed.

Sophia sleeps by my wifes head.  Shakespeare sleeps downstairs, usually in the bathtub.  He doesnt go up the stairs very often but last time we tried getting him to sleep up with us, he jumped straight for the bed.  I pulled him off and he jumped right back up again, thats when I took him back downstairs.

Mine sleep with me. I sleep better with them, so I'm glad they prefer my bed to their own.

Indeed, mine are.... but there is still room for me after they are both spread out!  Wow, that's a pile of dogs!  ... who needs a blanket?  I bet you'd stay plenty warm with that kind of snuggling [;)

I'd have to kick off some dogs, too... afterall, I don't see them getting up to go earn the dog food in the mornings!

When I go to bed before BF, I invite the doggies up but only two come up.  BF shooes them off when he comes to bed though.

What a wonderful picture! Mine sleep on our bed when we're not on it. It looks like you have no room for everyone either.
    • Gold Top Dog
Yes - Rupert tells me that he would either die of lonliness or freeze to death if he didn't sleep with us in bed, under the covers. [:)]

Wow! Now THAT is a pile of doggies!! [:D]

Mine are allowed on the bed in general, but not to sleep at night with us. They get on the bed and keep DH warm while I get ready in the mornings, and are allowed up to snuggle at other times... but with DH, me, and four doggies there winds up being NO room for me if we let them sleep with us.

Just this morning I was sitting on the edge of the bed, with DH laying to my side and Zippy in front of me, petting June - who was on the floor. Finally, I said, "come on up June", expecting her to find an empty spot. But nooooo, she launched herself straight into my lap. I got to work and realized I was COVERED in Junie hair. I love dogs. Thank God I love em.

Husband is stationed in Iraq, so right now- yes.  When he comes home next month they will get the boot.  Poor pups!
