I think I can speak for the entire forum when I say I feel like I lost a dog of my own.

Absolutely, I do.  Callie, I'm so very sorry.  I don't even know where to begin. . .I'm in shock!

So am I. Like others, I'm crying as I post this. (((Callie)))

Callie, I just read your post and I have tears trickling down my face. I am so sorry for your loss, but am thankful that Billy went quickly and without suffering. He's going to see a tiny white dog at Rainbow Bridge with a pink bow on her head. I know my Chloe will be one of his many friends to keep him company until it's our turn to meet up with them again. Billy was such a special dog. Much love and good thoughts for you, David, Luna, and Tink during this time. Hugs!

    Run free and fast, Billy.

One of the first things David and I said last night was "wow -- just imagine the dogs waiting for HIM at the Bridge -- a whole IMHA dog section!"

Fris, Chloe, Sadie and so many others.

Not to mention just the many people who just plain liked him.  He had such personality -- and love for ALL.  Thank you all so much again.  David's reading this as well.

Run free at the Bridge, Billy.

Callie, David, Tink and Luna, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of each other during this difficult time.

OMG, I'm in shock and at a loss of words ....I just can't explain how sad and broken the heart feels right now!

Billy was such an inspiration to both Tessy and I as well as countless other furkids struggling with autoimmune disorders and other sickness'.  The stories of how Billy encountered countless barriers and surpassed them all is no doubtedly a monument of faith for so many others!  I can't begin to count all the dogs you've inspired and gave faith to Billy!!

I think Lani said it perfectly... "you were blessed by him and his presence, but he was also blessed by yours."  Callie, what you gave Billy was a long life filled with happiness, zest and wonderfull parents.  What more can any furkid ever ask for!  You gave him the world!

I also consider it an honour and a blessing to have known you Billy.  The others are right, you're gonna have one heck of a welcoming committee at the bridge waiting for you!  Rumor has it you can eat absolutely ANYTHING you want while you wait at the bridge!!!   :)

Rest easy Billy, the Adventurin Cocker Span-YELL.  You'll never be forgotten!

Callie, lots and lots of gentle hugs and prayers for you, David, Tink & Luna.

Callie, David, Luna, Tink-  I am so sorry for your loss. There really aren't any words... I've always loved seeing Billy's stories and posts on the forum - he was one of a kind and such a source of love and inspiration.

I bet they're having a huge party for him at the Bridge right now - he will have so many friends there!

     (((HUGS))) to you all.

Oh, Callie and David, I am so sorry for your loss.  Billy was such a great dog and I will really miss your great stories about him.

I'm so sorry for your loss Callie.

Billy proved everyday that love is the best way to touch lives.

Callie, I'm so sorry to hear Billy is gone. You guys were meant for each other, and he chose the best way possible to take off for that Rainbow Bridge, the way that would be easiest on you. What a guy! And I'm totally in agreement: if you had been there, he would have done his level superdogman best to STAY with you. So sorry anyway! Love, hugs!

Callie, apologies for the late note here.  I've been looking in the Rainbow Bridge forum for the thread.  Embarrassed

I too want to offer my sincere condolences for the loss of Billy.  You are an angel on earth and have helped so many people and so many critters.  Thankfully, Billy didn't suffer; and thankfully you were able to tell him you love him so his little ears could hear.  But rest assured, he can still hear you, feel you, love you.  You might even be so blessed as to feel his presence for a while longer.

Billy, please give my Codycoe a little nudge for me.  Run free Sweet and Beautiful Boy!
