Lies I also hope the pelt either turns up or comes out ok!

I find it funny how much my two are total opposites. Timmy's entire goal in life is to make DH and I happy. He loves to help out with whatever he can or just to be near us. Not necessarily cuddling, just in the same room so he can keep an eye on what is going on. Sadie, she could care less if she is making us happy or not if there isn't something in it for her. If there is a treat involved, then look out! She will do whatever you ask, no questions. Otherwise, meh - she'll do it when she wants to do it.

I am so happy with how Chief is fitting in here.  He and Finn are best buds.  Benny tries to play with them when they play, but they just ignore him so he just chases them barking.  Chief starts his first training class ever on Monday.  I am so excited and I know he will do well.  He loves other dogs and people, which is a total change from Finn and even Benny.  Finn is wary with strangers and doesn't like other dogs and Benny just gets scared of dogs bigger than him so he barks at them.

The day I completed the adoption papers for Chief, I think he knew he was here to stay.  Or maybe I have just changed the way I act towards him, because I am treating him not as a foster, but a part of the family now.  Although, after taking him to work with me one day, he thinks he can go with me everyday.  I wish he could, but he would cry every time I would leave him.  He did have fun playing with puppies though!

We finally got a decent amount of snow last night.  I let G out to potty this morning.  He could barely poop because the snow was up to his butt.  He couldn't get a good squat in.  Poor boy.  :)

Alpo-Puck is my LEAST favorite doggy created game. The sound of a metal bowl SCRAPING along the floor, pushed by a nose is like fingernails on a chalkboard. *shudders*

It always amazes me how much our dogs understand what we are saying.  My late Cody seemed to have the largest collection of words in her head.  We could be all the way in the back part of the property; I could tell her "Cody, go up front and lay down on your bed."  And she would.  Big Smile

I recently bought some antlers for my dog's chewing pleasure.  Huge hit!  They love them...and when Buddy is in mid chew....he takes no shenanagins from his hooligans.  Surprise

I, too, like this thread....we may need to create a daily thread like the non dog related...

My thought was to let this one go a bit...several pages, then start a Part 2, then 3, and so on. Keeping the title the same should make it easy to find?

Cleo is making the most DISGUSTING sucking noises behind me. I am afraid to look...

Gabby's plans for taking over the world or at least her little corners of it, are falling into place, one by one.  She has officially ousted Ruger from his favorite napping spot at work.   She uses her brain since he's so much larger than her.  Step one is find his favorite chew.  Step two is take that chew to the other room and pretend it's the best chew in the world by tossing and catching and generally making a big deal over the chew.  Step three is to abandon the chewy when Ruger comes to see what's so interesting and rush into the other room and get in Ruger's napping spot.  :)

lol Jackie. Sully does that to get something from RC, who tho much smaller is about 10x MEANER than he is when it comes to defending a toy he wants. He does that exact thing with a stick or whatever he can find...and she always, ALWAYS falls for it. LOL.

I think that I have been erroneously blaming Buddy for tooting when in fact sometimes it could be Princess Heidi.  Earlier this week, she was laying on the floor next to me ...and all of a sudden I hear a "toooooot."  I look around and see only her..the boys were somewhere else in the house.  She didn't move her head, however she looked up at me with those beautiful big brown eyes as if to say.  T'wasn't' me.  Yeah, and I don't sweat either.

Bugsy has deemed that no crows shall enter our yard.  Carrying out his mandate is proving to be exhausting work.

speaking of tooots, lily's spot on the bed is right by my head against the wall. The last 2 nights she has been cutting the cheese like mad and pretty much gagging me to death. My sense of smell hasn't quite returned yet either from surgery, so this is saying something. Of course, she acts all offended when I boot her off the bed.

Got Goose's culture back. She had two bacterias..one of which was e.coli. (I love it when a lab report says the sample was "swarming"..ick). The e. coli was resistant to amoxi and clavamox, so we're trying a new med. Had to avoid anything Baytril-like as she's still growing. Hopefully this clears up her bit issue
