Has the owner been traced yet?

Is there an update?  Surely the worried owner has reunited with her pug?

    GREAT NEWS!!!

I'm a little late to this... any news? I'm guessing the pug is already back home with a happy family with the comments of leads above, that bodes well (**crossing fingers***). Just wanted to chime in my good thoughts for finding his home. How scary to lose a dog, I'd be an utter wreck.

Just seeing this thread.  Can't help but thing the owners are in an absolute panic.  I sure hope Porky has found his home by now.  He sure is a cutie, and well taken care of.  Someone, somewhere is definitely missing him.

Here's my theory: there's no update because the dog was not a stray.

That would be weird and sad and... disheartening. i'm confused now.

So glad Porky is home!!! Her owners must be so relieved to have her back. Did you find out her ACTUAL name... I feel a bit bad thinking of her as Porky :-/

That is such good news! I'm happy for "porky's" family... what is his real name? How did they lose him?

Her name is CC. She was with a pet sitter who visited a friend that lives about 2 miles from my house. She wandered off with the friend's dog who knew it's way home but of course CC didnt. Owners came home Sunday night from Thanksgiving with family to find CC gone. They said it'll was the first time using a petsitter and the last time. They will be taking her with them from now on. She was just diagnosed with a thyroid problem reason why she is overweight!

I do not appreciate being called a liar and some people assuming I brought the pug home myself. If I had brought the dog home for myself I would have said so not made up some stupid lie. I really have enjoyed being part of this forum but I can see I am no longer welcome here.

Glad to hear she is back with her rightful owners.  I wonder why, though, the pet sitter didn't think to look for the dog she lost?

Agreed, you would think they would've gone and taken the time to post some fliers around, especially since it wasn't their dog.  Yikes. Not a situation to "wait and see" if the pug would return on her own in a completely new neighborhood.

Anyway, glad to see she's back.
