Tina, ten minutes?  That's not enough time.....lol

Yeah, but it is in slowed-down time, so it'll equal 30.  Denzel's a busy man, you know, saving the world and all.

We moved, we moved! I don't have interwebs at the new house yet though. I'm posting from Panera Bread :)

    You all are hilarious today!

I agree....10 minutes ain't even enough time to take the WRAPPER of that particular chocolate bar the right way girlfriend.

I just got my feelings hurt pretty bad and am trying not to let it bother me but it is. I think I need to go for a walk and attempt to get over it.

I saw you posted on FB that they put a porta potty against your office window. I'm guessing that's not why your feeling's are hurt but it still stinks ;). I hope a walk helped you feel better.

I have a headache and don't feel like working any more today. I also have a bad case of the munchies and I don't really have anything in the office that sounds appealing.

Paige - there are so many times I'd like to channel you ;)

I'm sorry Julie, whether or not this has anything to do with the lovely outhouse.

I have a job interview on Monday for a job I REALLY want, so would appreciate some crossed fingers!

I was on a strict two beer limit since I'm still on crutches and as he put it  . . . he doesn't want to deal with a broken hip on top of everything else !!!  Too bad, because you wouldn't believe how many people want to buy you drinks when you walk into a bar on crutches.

I think that I'm going to grab my pair of crutches & head for the bar!  Free drinks sound sooooo good right now!

Paige, I switched from TMobile to AT&T with no issues.  I just went to the AT&T store & they did everything for me.

It's been a bad day. I think I'm coming down with a bug.  Also, one of my customers asked me to change ship method on an order last minute.  I did.  Ten minutes later they wanted it switched back.  Tongue Tied  This is a customer that I usually like, too.

I got myself some  chocolate and a bottle of wine.

That will cure most any bad day.  I hope you're not getting sick.  Alcohol kills germs. lol

GabbyG went for her booster vaccines this afternoon.  I had the vet confirm what I have observed.  Her upper canine baby teeth are still pretty firmly in place. :(    She's due to be spayed and if lots of vigorous tug doesn't help she'll pull them at that time.  Gabby made a few new friends in the waiting room.  The vet told me she thought she was looking very dobeish to her.  I didn't ask her or bring it up.  She mentioned it as Gabby tried to get the stethoscope off her neck. lol

Finally back home - LONG day.  I'll post Billy's "results" in his thread but he's home and asleep.

Mammogram was clear - ultrasound was ... not much fun, but it's DONE.  phew.

Anybuddy else find this ... not cool?  As I was filling out my paperwork to have my tests done I had this extra slip that wanted me to sign off on either letting them throw away my old films or taking them home.

WHAT?   You're the doctor -- YOU keep them.  Why do *I* want them?  My doctor may want to see a comparison in a year or two?  These folks have new digital stuff now so all the results are now on CD and they don't want to "keep" the old films.  I told them to send them to my doctor but I'd rather *I* didn't have to keep them (they're HUGE).  Usually these places are SO proprietary about films it's a major deal to let another doctor see results ... and they want to just HAND them to me?  I told them I had a problem with it -- they simply don't want the inconvenience of having to store them.

Am I being a jerk?? I took them b/c I don't want them ditched until MY doctor says so -- but I wasn't graceful about it and I registered my displeasure with "the boss".  She knows I come there because I actually LIKE the techs so she knows I'm not a complainer usually but this just frosted MY cookies today!

Callie - I wish more docs / vets would offer me the films! I like to keep all my records in one spot at my own fingertips. It bothers me when I have to pretty much demand to have copies of all my stuff.

It just annoyed the crap out of me the way they demanded I "remove" them or they'd throw them away.  one of the reasons I GO to the same place is so my dr. can compare with last years.  It sorta morphed me back to when my mother "demanded" i remove everything from my room at home (and this was while I was in college and had NO permanent place to live) or she'd throw it out -- and she DID.  I was like at least let me ASK my dr. ... but nooooooooooo today or its trash.

The lad has germs. An annoying cold.

I have an extremely low tolerance for drama over illness, so I'm about ready to shoot myself.

I feel your pain. The drama of a cold around here can be worthy of an oscar.

I kinda am just feeling good about myself in general today.

Love it.  Let's all do this frequently!  Smile

I can understand this, but I can see the other sides issue. Storing records cost money, if the records or films were over the time that they are required by law to hold on to, I would think that offering them to you first was a courtesy that they really did not need to do. Hopefully you will find a good resolution.

    Glad Billy did good.
