    Mindless Thursday

     I had to start this...

TWENTY FOUR HOURS FROM NOW ON AM ON MY WAY TO GET MY PUPPY!!!!!!

I can't believe I really am getting my Hootie puppy. I am so excited...

    That is all

Yipeeee!  I'm exited for you too!

I've been up since before 6 and still don't feel awake.  Maybe another pot of coffee??  Or maybe I should make some espresso......

Ann, I can almost smell the puppy breath from here!  I'm so excited and happy for you.

Another beautiful day today with clear blue skies and perfect temps.  We're supposed to get a light freeze tomorrow morning.  Finally, hot chocolate weather. lol

Things at work are crazy today since we go public again this morning (thank god!!).  I have sooo much work to do and very little motivation.

I was able to pick up a Zumba class that I will be teaching once a week and I am soo excited.  What's even better is that it's on the weekend, during Riley's nap time so its not like I will even miss any time with her.  Doesn't pay much but I am still pumped .  Now I just have to come up with some routines and music, etc.

Hope everyone has a great day!

My leg is less achey today thanks to ibuprofen.  I hope it heals soon because this is not the time of year I want to miss exercise.

Ann, I hope you have a safe trip.  Gabby will be one lucky pup, that's for sure.

I can't remember anything else I was going to say.

Ann, I'm so thrilled for you.  Now you know you HAVE to keep us supplied with puppy pictures.  We'll just have to imagine the puppy breath.

Tina, I hope your leg feels better soon.

Nothing to report here.  Just another day is paradise.  ::snort::

Lisa if you were closer... I would look into your class. I need to do SOMETHING more physically and I hear that is a lot of fun.

I really want to figure out how I can lose my 20+ pounds I want to lose. It is not a lot in the big scheme of things but more exercise is just not in the cards time wise. So I need to figure out what "more" I can do or change. Sigh....I am sick of tight pants... it's all in my middle, no where else.

Me too Ann.  Middle and thighs.  But my butt is little.  Go figure.  Lower down legs are getting nicely toned from waking dogs, but....and the stuff I can do for exercise is highly limited due to the shoulders.  Depressing, isn't it?

Ann, when will you be back? I think I'm going to the Novi pet expo on Sat. Will you be there this weekend dock diving? I could use some puppy breath!

I'm so sluggish this morning and my head feels like it weighs 500 lbs. sinus pressure, sneezing, coughing, bleh. Come on Dec 28th! It doesn't help that my office is a construction site and i'm breathing in constant dry wall dust all day.

Lily had another good night last night. Didn't wake me up at all! yay

    Yayyyyyy puppy!

Lisa, I'd take your class too!

Got an email this morning from someone who took my study - instructions were to enter your email address on the last page so you could get credit. So on the last page, there's a big thing saying, "enter your email address here" and a box. Email read, "I took your online study. However, i didn't know which page was the last page, so therefore I didn't put down my email address on the survey. How can I still get credit?" Really? Really?? How do you not know which page is the last page? It's the one without anything else after it!! Gah!

    WOW!  Somebody is really "pretty."

I am tired & sleepy this morning.  I have tons of stuff, non work related, on my mind, & I'm having difficulty focusing.  I need a drink.

Wish you had moved to Arkansas, lol!  I dropped my Zumba class.  I may pick up the cd's but, they started using a sub quite a bit and to be honest she didnt do near as good as most of the ladies in the class.  I was very disappointed.  Not really fair to compare but my Belly Dance instructor was so awesome and she worked as hard as she expected us to.   I felt like I was getting a workout and I felt like I was getting my money's worth.  Finances are tight anyway and when I leave a dance class and feel like I wasted my time and money well.....anyway gotta find something to keep me busy this winter I am not a sit-around-kinda-gal.

Gotta get busy here, have a great day all!

Heehee.  I laugh, but I would probably be that person.  I can overthink *anything* to the point where I mess up even finding the last page.  LOL.

I've not done Zumba, I bought the Groupon of the day a couple days ago, it's two months unlimited yoga at a Bikram Yoga place for $39, starting whenever you want from now until May.  I've never done yoga before, esp not this 'hot' business, but I figured $39 is only the price of about 3 classes, and I can make myself go three times in a month.  And maybe just maybe, I would like it.  I enjoy going to exercise things like that, and although I hate to pay money for somthing I can do at home myself, without it I don't have any motivation.  So I was going to start in Jan (after the holidays and classes are over) but maybe Feb so I don't have to fight all the folks with new year's resolutions.

*Hands Amanda a drink*  Sorry you're tired and having trouble focusing

Congrats on the pup but be sure to enjoy tonight's nice full night's sleep as it will be the last for quite a while!

My back is about 80% better now. No further spasms. A friend told me about those Salonpas patch things and they were just what I needed. They worked great and I am grateful!

I might've found a Junior Handler for Sully...that should be fun...plus I won't have to show him myself so that can only be a good thing. Hope it works out. Of course there's a show I want to go to and enter here on the same weekend we're supposed to go see the inlaws for a delayed T-Giving visit. Hmm...if the Jr works out I could still enter him...if not well, I wonder how much trouble I'd be in if I didn't go?

Cleo is finally out of season so crate and rotate is over for now...but of course now RC and Ellie both are in so bah. Sully is very interested but he hasn't acted a complete fool so that's good. Small favors.

Good thoughts to all that need them!

Ann - I wish you lived closer too.  You might want to check your parks and rec department.  They usually have classes of all kinds and they aren't too expensive.  Typical prices around here are $10 for a "walk-in" or $25 - $28 for a 4 week "card".  You might also want to check local dance studios as that's where a lot of "certified" instructors are teaching.  I'm not certified yet, but will probably have to do that next year.

You must be soo excited about your puppy!  I am thinking about going to the pet expo this weekend if we can find the time since we are supposed to finish up with the x-mas decorations.

Zumba's fun and the instructor I take from is my old dance instructor so we probably do a lot more dancing moves.  For me, I get "lost" dancing so it is definitely a release for me.  I spent 18 years formal (tap, jazz, ballet, etc.) dancing so its nice.  It can be frustrating if the instructor doesn't explain ANYTHING and just starts shaking her hips like a nutball.  Best to look around and try different places.
