Oh No! Kenya, please stay safe!

I've been following this at work but wasn't able to post.  We are hoping for Kenya's safe and quick return to her family.

We just went out after dark since it's quiet.  No sightings, but we walked and called for a long time and someone else went in a vehicle and was still out searching when we had to leave.  We also made a little "station" where she first ran away, with food, water, and some of her other stuff that is familiar to her.

Came back to check on the search before I headed to bed...still keeping those positive thoughts flying her way!

Just seeing this now.  How scary, I can't imagine what you guys are going through. Sending huge thoughts to you today for at least another sighting to know she's okay and even better to help her find her way home!

    PLEASE come home, Kenya!

"Stay safe and left momma find you" vibes going out this morning.

I thought about her all night!

I have a REALLY solid lead.  My phone just downloaded an e-mail with a picture.  Someone was "given" a dog two days ago, picture looks just like Kenya, the dog is "very skittish and doesn't like people".  Person fears her friend just picked up the dog and gave it to her (WHO DOES THAT?!?!?!!?  the dog was WEARING ID!!!!).  I've called and sent a response, the calls go to voicemail.  Reverse lookup on the number yields nothing.  Is there any other way to ID the number?  If I knew a name or address I'd just go there and get my dog, I don't care if someone is home or willing to give her up.  If I call to her anywhere near the house and she can hear me she will bark and go nuts.  I may go to the Humane Society because you can leave a $100 check as collateral and borrow their chip scanner, it proves without a doubt the dog is mine, I have the matching tags.  I will lie to the person and tell her the dog has a medical condition and needs expensive medication.
