Thanks Paige.  I did that on both computers and they were having trouble in the house as well.

I think I just sweated out several gallons of fluid!  ALL I need was tidy and organize my compartments in the RV in case I need more room.........the COLD shower will definately feel good shortly.

Me, too.  I'm getting myself worked up about it.  I keep thinking that if something is wrong and I'm at work.  She's probably fine, but...

This was her yesterday afternoon.  Not like she was doing anything strenuous...

    • Gold Top Dog
Jeeze, tell her to take it easy next time ;)

I'm about to lose a gasket over here.  The *brand new* photocopier that went on the fritz friday before last, that was "fixed" on Monday has now decided to stop working AGAIN!.  And the lawyer is leaving today for her vacation and we are trying to tie up loose ends, we can't even receive faxes, NOTHING.  GAAAAAAAAAAH I'm pissed.

Hi all,  OMG...just finished catching up with the weekend chatter.... Amanda I am so sorry about your wreck.  You really must rest some.  Take it from me, I am married to Mr. Accident!!!!

Gracie, Ari, Sassy, and all you furr babies out there pleeeeaaaase feel better, it is just too darn hot for your Mommies and Daddy's to have to worry so much!

Callie I am so glad you had fun at Disney!  Did I hear someone mention it's Billy's gottcha day soon? Or did I miss it.

I am waiting to hear from Mom and Dad about what tests they ran today.   Also had a neighbor call and ask us to keep an eye on their place she is taking her hubby to the Mayo Clinic.  He has had some problems and surgeries that resulted in 3 hernias  and he is in a great deal of pain.  He is not a complainer so he must be hurting.  If you guys can please put Darrell on your good vibes list :)

    Gotta run very busy!

    Hugs to all!

    You've got it Ginger.

I got to cross TWO big jobs off my to do list this afternoon.  The RV storage compartments are all sorted, consolidated and ready for whatever other little stuff I find that needs a place.  Then I pulled some stuff out of our storage in the barn that is NOT going with us but that our friends wanted to put in their yard sale.  Not sure why it got put in with our stuff, but, oh well.  AND I got both the wooden file cabinet, that will probably NOT be going and the humongous 3 drawer metal one that is going, all packed up.....trying to minimize weight on the stuff that's going in the trailers.

I think I seriously overdid tho.  The last time I checked the heat index was 104.  I sat in the shower stall letting cold water run over my head for about 20 minutes.  I chugged LOTS of V8 so don't think I did any damage this time, and the cold water dropped the body temp back down into something approaching normal!

The VERY good news is that it won't be anywhere NEAR as hot on the other end!

Gracie, you've gotta be careful power napping, girl!

Sending lots of vibes to Amanda, Gracie, and Gin's neighbor.  Get better all!!

Woo....drove home through a monsoon.  And, I had to stop on the way home & get more cookies for the dogs, because they were down to 2 left in the jar.  Walked through the door and the lights in the shop part went out (the lights appeared to be on the doggie daycare & grooming areas, thank goodness).  The guy who owns the place said the computers were working, so I could still shop, lol.  His sweet, adorable Yorkie helped me pick out the goodies. Smile

The suite next door to our office is a studio space.  They shoot music videos and commercials, etc.  The music videos are mostly rap, because, well, it is Atlanta.  I have no idea who was there today, but here are some pics of the cars that were parked outside my office today:

Two sweet Dodge Challengers & a Camaro (note the *keep away from my car* parking jobs, lol)

And *this* was parked next to my lowly Highlander, lol

I could only get a pic of the back of the Bentley, because I didn't want to get caught snapping pics of other peoples' cars, but woo...this is one awesome car.  The inside of the rims are painted the same brick red as the ragtop.  This car is just all kinds of awesome. Yes

btw folks -- Zsa Zsa Gabor is the one married to the prince.  It was Ava Gabor who was Mrs. Eddie Albert in Green Acres.  Sisters and look alikes a lot --- except Ava was always my favorite, but she passed away several years ago.  Zsa Zsa is the one with the firery temper -- she got in all sorts of trouble several years ago for mouthing off to a cop after she'd gotten stopped for something.

But I have to give it to Zsa Zsa -- she has aged unbelievably well and I feel so badly for her and her husband that she's having such a terrible time after this fall.  I can't even imagine how frustrating it must be for them.

I don't know what had me so in a tizzy, but Gracie is completely fine.  When I came home, she was snoozing, so I got to watch her stretch off the couch again, and all was totally normal.  Flexed all of her joints again, all good.  I think it's just me being alone w/her and nobody else here to "help", that I felt especially worried about her being by herself... I'm sure she thinks I'm a nut.

It's hotter than hades around here.

    Glad that Gracie is ok.

Counting down the days to a cooler temp where I live!  Their HIGH today was 78....that was our LOW.  Their low??  55 degrees!!!  I'm sensing a chance to wear jeans in the evenings!

Glad Gracie is okay! Dogs sure know how to worry us sometimes...!

Glenda, I'm going to laugh when it's winter and you're "over" the colder temps! :-p My first year in New England, it didn't get above 0 degrees (F) the entire month of January, and 3 days in a row we had windchill of -45*F. Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! But, summers were usually gorgeous... oh, and fall just does NOT get any better. Oh man. They truck in busloads of "leaf peepers" to the area - people paying just to be bussed around so they can look at trees. And the apple season - and apple cider donuts - oh man! Good times! :-D

Took Rascal in for a dental today - everything (miraculously) looked good! No extractions! And now his breath is sooooo nice... it just depresses me that no matter what I do, he'll have butt-breath again in a year or less. I've tried teeth brushing, those gels, raw bones, even Greenies, nothing does anything significant (except raw bones make him puke)... Stupid genetics. Maybe we can hang on to these nice chompers for a few months at least...!

BF and I are thinking about a trip to Maine next week - he wants to take surfing lessons maybe. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

Edit: forgot to add, happy B-day, Callie! Sounds like you had a lovely trip!!

haha!  You'll have plenty of those chances.  Some nights, you'll wear sweats to bed, under heavy blankets, etc. lol  But you're from Michigan, so you know the deal.
