Tina, being a "nice girl" is overrated.  Come on over to the darkside.....Devil

I'm so glad to hear that Gracie is ok!!

Thinking of Ari, Sassy, & Darrell.

I have napped extensively today, & I still feel like hell.  I have a neurologist appointment tomorrow because DH insists that I'm having memory problems.  I'm fairly certain that he just didn't tell me the things that I "forgot" but whatever.

Bevo, Cher, Angel, & Shooter are going to drive me nuts.  I understand that they haven't had a good run since Friday, but still....  I sent them out with DH to play in the yard, but they came back & sat on the patio whining to come back inside instead.  I begged our petsitter to take them for a few hours tomorrow.

Uhm, Maine has a huge coastline - where are you thinking of going??  My sister surfs off the NH coast (PS, the smallest continual coast line in the US, I'm told.  Whopping 13 miles?) - But it has some decent surfing (esp for a novice).  There's a place in Hampton called Cinnamon Rainbows where you can rent surfboards - and I'm sure you can set up lessons w/them, too.  But that's NH.  However, it's just over the border from ME. lol  Kittery is about 30 mins north (ie, Kittery Outlets = SHOPPING!) lol

Well, yeah but, jeans in the SUMMER????

I don't mind the cold weather as much as I do the heat.  I wasn't real thrilled with it the winter we lived in the RV, but, couldn't use the furnace because our friends house wouldn't support the power draw to run the fan,  And little things like having to take an ice scraper to the inside walls.....having the drainage tanks freeze.  That got kind of old.  And her driveway was up a steep incline so more often than not she would get her car stuck in it sideways and we'd have to go get her out so WE could leave.  See, I'M smart enough to either find a house without a bear of a driveway, or have the plow guy on speed dial!

I've always done better in cooler weather...survived winter on the Cape, in Portland, ME, wayyyy northern ME, upstate NY, near Albany, AND NW MI.  However, GA, MS and now FL have just kicked my butt with the heat and humidity.  And, the older I get, the less heat tolerant I am.  Yet, I can still handle the cold.  Don't love it, but, I can deal with it far better than this heat.
