Callie, I'm glad you liked that. My trainer posted it - she has mostly Dobes, and then one pug. I kept watching that and laughing.
I told you Amanda was going to try to go to work. Stop, drop, and sleep, Amanda!!! Go rest!
Would anyone mind offering some vibes to Gracie?
She went to get off the couch this morning to go outside and started to do her usual stretch off the couch (front legs on the floor, back legs stretching) She started to walk her feet out, twice, and instead walked them back and sort of perched her hind end on the couch (as if she was sitting like a person - not a particularly common stance for her). I'm watching, thinking it's weird, until she goes to stand up her back end on the couch and walk off and does a tiny little whimper. Then hoists her front legs back onto the couch and stands there for a second before walking the length of the couch to get off. It's possible a toenail was caught in the blanket - it's got ribbons running through it. But... she walks outside like usual (although not a trot like usual) and went outside to potty. I went upstairs to shower, came down to close the back door and couldn't find her. Looked all around. She was in my sister's room, laying on the floor. She only goes in there when she's scared (thunderstorms). There was a dumpster truck rumbling around, so maybe... but with her leg/foot thing, I'm concerned.
She stayed there for a few minutes, even when I came out here to tell my boss I'd be late for work (I had to leave right then to catch the bus, or stay with G. You know which one I chose.) She trotted back in and hopped onto her chair and is curled up like any other morning. I went to her K9 aspirin, but now I can't find the damned stuff. She won't take the Joint Rescue chewables, either. Please spare a thought that this was just an oddity and that she's ok?
