So Tina, are you nice? Wink

I'm a little hurt that I even have to justify this with an answer.  I've only had sex once ever - that's how I ended up with my DS.  Like I was going to risk repeating that occurrence.  Confused

LOL!!  Tina.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

STILL can't get my AOL email and there is something there that I've GOT to see.  Crud.

    Regarding the vinegar and water:

Our machine normally has you put about a 1/2 cup full of soap, instead of soap I used 1 1/2 cups of vinegar.  I got the water has hot as it would go (steaming) and mixed.  The measuring cup comes with the machine so I am not sure how much exactly - just use 3x the normal amount.  I probably could have used more since it doesn't hurt anything.  I was so shocked at how much soap came up.  Now we know why it kept getting dirty!!!  Regarding the smell, after about a 1/2 hour you couldn't even smell the vinegar and didn't have to wait the day or so to have the chemical smell disappear.

Please spare a thought that this was just an oddity and that she's ok?

Defnitely!  Hopefully it was just a ribbon or something.

Tina, glad you had a good time.  Also glad your house was intact and the cat boxes were scooped.  I'm sorry to hear about so many dogs being euthed at your shelter.

I don't use soap in our carpet shampooer.  I just use water but I may try adding some vinegar next time.

Thank you - the more I think of it, it def wasn't a ribbon, because she didn't try to shake her foot free.  Which tells me her back, hip, or leg (or maybe stomach) are what could have been hurting her.  I felt suuuper guilty leaving her this morning.

Gracie, don't do anything crazy, ok.

I took Luke to the dog park today. He hasn't been for a while due to it being too hot or raining. I need to get him a new comb, since I lost his. I also need to get myself a haircut, but I'm not sure if the guy I like is in today or not. I think he is. Maybe I can let someone else do it though.

Paige - I hope there's nothing serious going on with Gracie. I know you'll worry all day but I'm betting she's at home sleeping soundly and all is well.

We had a scare with Sassy last night too. She finished dinner and then came in and kept licking her lips like she was going to throw up. DH took her outside and it continued but she didn't throw up. I immediately thought "bloat" and so DH got out his stethescope and listened to her tummy and she has a lot of noise going on, so I felt a little better. The salivating went on for what seemed like a long time but her tummy was soft and she didn't seem in pain. I then thought maybe it was a dental issue but looked in her mouth and couldn't see anything. She crashed out and seemed fine this morning, so beats me what was going on.

The weekend flew by way too fast and I didn't sleep much the night I stayed at my brothers, so I went to bed early last night and slept like a rock. I still feel like a few more hours would've been nice.

Amanda - I agree with the others that you should definitely go back to bed.

Tina - I'm glad you had a nice weekend with your friend but very sad to hear about all those dogs being euthanized. Sad

Oh Paige, good vibes for Gracie!

Am I the only one having internet problems??  FINALLY got my email to open, but then I couldn't send anything!  From my account or from Todds.

    • Gold Top Dog

Sending good vibes for Gracie and Sassy and now Ari.  Dogs, please quit worrying your mamas!

Glenda, can you call your internet provider?  Sounds like something's gotten fouled up.  Hope you can get it resolved without too much hassle.

I heard this weekend that Zsa Zsa Gabor fell and broke a hip and is in critical condition.  I'm showing my extreme age by saying that I thought she was hilarious in that old TV show 'Green Acres'.   I think they said she's 93 years old.

Call me old too but I loved that show.

I haven't thot about that show in years!!  It was a hoot tho!

Our friends called and apparently there is an issue in the central station and they are "working on it"......which is somewhat like "the check is in the mail" sadly.

So we are set to get started.  I need to go out in the barn and start doing some sifting.  I need help to do that tho and DS doesn't get up before it's HOT.  I'm thinking I'll just have to chug lots of V8 and sweat it out because it needs to be done, and left to his own devices, DS will leave it for Thursday.  Ummm, no.  And, a lot of the stuff that needs taking care of??  Stuff he's pulled out!  LOL!

I am not happy about leaving Gracie by herself today.  She might be fine.  I just wish I was w/her, or she was w/me so I knew she's ok.

Glenda, try deleting all your temporary files - something might be cached that's holding you up.  If that fails, then delete your cookies (means that if you go back to a website that requires a log-in and you've forgotten what your password is, your cookie will be gone, so it can't log you in automatically.  Just keep that in mind.)

Mint Chocolate chip ice cream, tea, and left over cheezies for breakfast! LOL! I'm so healthy it's sickening.. Stick out tongue Anyways!  I finally got off my butt and did a poop patrol in the back yard so the workers can stop complaining about the land mines.. They haven't even stepped in any yet since my guys seek out spots that are out of the way.

Sandy and I are gonna take a walk in a bit and check the mail then see if there's anything neat in the thrift stores.  After I drop her off at home, I need to run back to the sewing store for a piece I forgot. I'm making Sandy a new collar since her skull and cross bones one died. *sigh*
