I hugged ya twice because I feel so cruddy that Pi is not doing well.  I know he's in good hands with you Callie & David right there but I just wish I could do something for him.  He's one of my favoritest dogs on i-dog.  Give him some skritches & rubbins from me.

You can't have my Papillons but I know of a great little boy that's still in foster that would LOVE to live in Floorida.  He's presently in Michigan. 

Glad to hear he hasn't had any more seizures.  Sending him and you good vibes. 

 Oh Pirate We are sending some very, very powerful and large no seizure vibes your way and lots of hugs to your mom, cuz she is awesome.  Bugsy would like to give both of you lots of "sugars"

How's Pirate??

I hadn't talked to her since Thursday (Billy & Tink had the 5:00 appt at Dr. D's and Pirate had a 3:30 *grin* and even THEN we missed each other and had to talk by cell).  But I just talked to her and he's doing fine.  She's talked to both the holistic vet AND the regular vet and everyone is *fine* with the 'plan' so far.

Pirate has *not* seized at all since last Saturday, but the vet has prescribed some valium in case he does, she'll have it to get it to stop.

 Now, there IS some pretty exciting news (very good news) about something she's been able to get Pirate into that should help a great deal.   She is ... well, let's just say I'd bet her first word will start with "squ -" and ends in "eeeee"!!

I'm so glad that Pirate seems to be holding his own for now.  I really hope it continues.

First of all, sorry, everyone! I was so busy with the beginning of fall semester and work and 'life' that I forgot to come back and update you all!

Weeeell, I just *happen* to have connections to this one lady (guess who?) who contacted someone at the Chi Institute looking for an email -- the Chi institute is the website Callie recommends all the time -- TCVM.com -- and they INVITED ME to bring Pirate, for FREE, to one of their clinics to see not only Dr. Xie (the man who STARTED the Chi Institute!) but also Dr. Clemmons and Dr. Chrisman, both neurologists from UF who also teach at the Chi Institute.

*deep breath...trying not to squeal...*

The BEST freaking vet acupuncturist ever is going to treat MY dog!!! Sqwah-eeeeeeee!!
