    I'm very late seeing this news about Pirate, but I'm sending plenty of good vibes from way out here!  It sounds like you've got all the healing energy you need right there, with Callie, David, and now the incredible opportunity to see acupuncture "royalty!"  Pirate is a lucky boy to be in such good hands with you and the team you've found for him.  Stay strong Pirate - you've got lots of people rooting for you!

    Thank you everyone, for keeping Pirate in your thoughts! I appreciate it very, very much. He's continued to do well, so hopefully we can get through this weekend and next week, when we head for the Chi Institute :)

    I snapped this pic with my cell phone, today. BF is skateboarding and Pirate was trotting along next to him. A true rockstar -- mohawk, skateboarding...I better watch out for groupies...

    I'm SO sorry I missed all this - but Pirate is special to me so good vibes are always coming his way from me.

    Aunt Callie - you never cease to amaze me.

    Pirate - glad to see you're doing well.   No more drama kiddo - be a good baby and keep plundering those cookies !!!

    We are so glad Pirate is holding his own!  I'm excited to see what the Chi people have planned for him. 

    On another note, I'm sick looking at that picture. . .you have GRASS and you are out without COATS, SCARFS, GLOVES, HATS, BOOTS. . .ETC!!  Are those palm trees????  

    I'm off to eat something now!

    Yeah, LAST week it was warm. It's in the 60's, during the day now, so a liiiittle chilly. LOL Trust me, you get majorly sick of the same old sunshine, day after day...sun sun sun.

    snort...who am I kidding?! I love it here and could never dream of living in a place where I can't wear flip flops every day!

    LOL I've had to break out the winter PJs - it got down to 40 the past couple of nights.     The highs have only been in the 60s .... I'm quite acclimated to Florida - that feels downright COLD to me !!

    How is Mr Pirate doing ?     He's so darned cute !!!

    The sad thing is - I don't OWN winter PJ's! I'm too stingy to turn the heat down, so I just put an extra blanket on my side of the bed and live with it. LOL.

    Pirate's chugging along. Dr. B (the 'regular' vet) wanted me to keep weaning him off of potassium bromide, so we're down to .5mL. I've got rectal valium on hand just in case...I am really hoping it doesn't come to that! (Or if it does, that BF is home -- **he** is an EMT!) Mostly I'm just trying to keep him calm and not over-stimulated. This week I need to get his charts from all over the place together for the CHI INSTITUTE next weekend...squeee.

    Rectal valium ?  You are much braver than I am !   I'll be praying you never need it.

    Please let us know every minute detail about your experiences at the Chi Institute.   When Prancer had her bout with "prepancreatitis" I was headed that way - then Callie told me about one of Billy's docs who now in my area so I went there and couldn't be happier.

    Seriously - I want every little detail !!     Pirate is one of my all time fav iDogs .... there's just something about him thats gotten inside me.
