Anne, my dear, when I lived in CA I was still part of Red Sox Nation....as were thousands of other fans who would go to Oakland to see them play....only time they had a decent crowd in that ball park.......

Amazing how energizing it is to DO something and take the lead instead of waiting for DH and following him.........

Good luck to you Glenda.  I know what you're saying, it does make you feel better to do something.  At least you are trying and then whatever happens, happens.    And, if you do end up in NH or Mass please let us know so we can meet up for coffee or something.  Willow would love to meet you!

No matter where we end up, will have to have coffee with an idog friend!  That's a nice thing to be able to say!

OK, found a nice campground nearby that is very affordable.  Go figure, most of the ones around here are not open in the off season.  Sigh.  And I have phone numbers for two storage facilities that are close and high enough to be dry.  We have to be out of here next week so we might as well just get ready and go.  This is a short term thing (lordie, I HOPE it is) so might as well make the best of it.

We'll have CABLE and free wi fi and can have our phone transfered to the campground, so these are good things. The ability to be able to stay in touch with the real world, and have anyone DH has sent resumes to be able to FIND us was a real concern.

I did some rearranging in the RV today....I had it pretty much packed to MOVE not to live in so had to make some room for being able to actually function it it, but that's all done now.  So am feeling a bit less frantic.  DH has several NEW people keeping their ears open for him and has seen lots of email activity, and I have a possibility as well.......

I've never camped with THIS many dogs, but, I do enjoy camping and have been thinking that the RV really needs to be used or sold........and with the cost of gas, that's just not gonna happen!

I'm wishing all the best for you, Glenda!

My sister and her husband had a similar turn of events in their lives a few years back. They ended up living in their little van with their cat. It was tough, but talking with her now, it was one of the more interesting and memorable times in her life. She learned a lot about herself and what's important in life.

Good luck to you and I'm pulling for you!

Glenda --  good luck with this.  It's good to see you in good spirits, or at least the best you can expect in this sitution.

I'm sending good thoughts your way, in hopes of good jobs and a place to call home.  Fingers, toes and paws crossed for you.
