Lori,, I'm so sorry that I missed this until now...but I guess I picked up on the good part,,,,since the tests results are back. AND she is eating again and it seems fine! I'm so happy!
Hugs to you and give that Baby Bear a big kiss for me, and tell her to keep eating!!!

UPDATE---First, thank you all SO MUCH for all the prayers and loving thoughts that you always give to Willow. I truly appreciate that she has all these friends in her life.

We got the lab results---The white blood cell count is about the same! The vet said that since Willow is doing so well there is no need for futher testing unless we decide to put her on any long term meds.

She's eating well again, it's on and off with her. She'll go months eating great then suddenly go on a hunger strike. Anyway, she weighs 48 lbs. which is a great weight so no issue there! The vet said she looks wonderful, said she was soft, shiney and smelled good!

Willow's vet breeds, owns and handles show pekeingnese and has many show dog friends. A friend of hers is trying to find a home for a chow that she can no longer breed and feels like she'd make a good pet. Well, she asked ME! I can't for a few reasons but I still took that as a BIG compliment that she asked!

I just saw this and i'm so happy all is well. I swear the anxiety is awful waiting for tests to come back, and in the meantime you scrutinize and try to interpret every little thing she does. Yay for Willow!

This is such good news!!! YAY FOR WILLOW!!! [sm=clapping%20hands%20smiley.gif] What a good girl!!! And it was a very nice compliment when you were asked about taking another chow.... you gotta be doin' a lotta things right!!

YIKES! Thats great..so be happy about that too Lori!!! We in Cleveland area of Ohio are in the midst of a major snow storm,,,took me twice as long to get to work this morning,,,,and it just won't stop snowing. Bubby went for her last walk for a while yesterday!!

Yes, we were very fortunate today, 54 degrees!!!! I'm soooo happy. But, it's supposed to snow tonight. That's how New England weather is. It could be sunny and snowing at the same time. . .and I'm not joking.

Ok, so this is me, being REALLY late. I was born a month late (really!) and I've been late ever since, so what can you do?

I'm SOOOOO happy to hear that Willow's bloodwork looks good, and that she's eating, and that she's not needing the prescription food any more that I had a little tear for her[

] Great job, Miss Willow, and great job, Mom, for taking such great care of her.

I am so happy that Willow's test were good. I will pray that things continue on a positive path for her.
